Emma Aiden locked herself in the room, quietly sitting on the sofa.
In her arms was a pillow made by Harrison Yale himself, with her whole body curled up. In her ears, she could only hear the words Harrison said to her on the road when he sent her back today.
"Knock knock!" The room door sounded.
"Emma, what are you thinking about? The butler asked you to come down for dinner, and you haven't gone down." Ella Jackson entered with a bowl of soup.
Seeing Emma Aiden dazing on the sofa, she walked over to her side with a heartache, reaching out to pinch her face.
"Let Mom guess, are you thinking about Harry?"
"..." Emma Aiden didn't speak. Biting her lips, she lowered her head, silently admitting it.
"Silly girl, if you really can't let go, why not give each other another chance?" Ella Jackson put down the soup in her hands and hugged her slender body.
Like comforting a child, she gently patted her back.
