Yelu Caiyun opened her eyes and saw Yang Xiao sitting nearby reading a book.
Sitting up straight, a piece of clothing slipped off her body.
Yelu Caiyun reached out to grab the clothing and took a glance, knowing it was Yang Xiao who covered her with it. Her heart warmed, and she smiled and said:
"Sorry, I fell asleep. Why didn't you wake me up?"
Yang Xiao put down the book, glanced at Yelu Caiyun, and smiled:
"It's nothing. I used to stay up late reading. I saw you sleeping so soundly, I didn't want to disturb you."
Yelu Caiyun smiled sweetly and handed the clothing back to Yang Xiao.
"Thank you."
Yang Xiao did not reach out for the clothing and said:
"The valley is quite chilly at night. You should keep it on."
Yelu Caiyun nodded and put Yang Xiao's shirt back on her shoulders.
"Are we spending the night in the library?"
"Of course not, now that you're awake, we should head back."
Yang Xiao stood up, tidied up the books on the table, and placed them back on the shelf.
