Back at Xiaoyun's home...
"Huh... Where is everyone?"
Xiaoyun curiously asked as he parked his car, looking a little confused by the fact that Leyan was the only one in the garage.
"Everyone had something coming up. Everyone had to stay overtime for work today, other than Yuqi, but she didn't want to go."
"Really? That bad of a timing?"
"Yes, really. Only Lily and Yuqi are home right now, and they need to watch the kids... Stop asking so many questions."
"Okay then."
As he started up the car, he could notice an unusual mood on her face. It was almost as if she was frustrated over something.
"How was your meeting with the experts today?" Xiaoyun curiously asked as he drove out of the garage.
"Worst meeting I ever had."
"I can see that... What happened?"
"They told me the project is dead in the water. And I mean it literally. You know the spot we picked that had a ton of trees and grass, right?"
"Yeah..."
