Chapter 52 - 49. The Club

Tankhun's POV:

"You can come to the swimming club with me." Nanon offers.

"No thanks. I won't strip and swim in the same dirty water as other boys and let everyone stare at my beautiful body." I said bluntly with a disgusted face, making Amy choke on her drink. I wanted to rub her back as I was close but decided not to move an inch from my place.

"Or you can come to the Music club with me." Bright offers too.

"No, I don't know how to play any instruments." I said hiding the true reason.

"Well, we don't want you to come to our Media club." Joy laughed at her own joke, but Day smiled agreeing with her.

I glanced at my left. Why doesn't Amy offer me to join her club...? Just say the word and I followed you like a happy kid in an amusement park.

I waited for a minute but she didn't ask. Now I feel kinda upset. From the corner of my eyes, I saw Joy looking at me intently. I just rolled my eyes.

"Why don't you join the theatre. You know... the Drama club?" Amy suggested thoughtfully. She remains silent because she was thinking for me? A smile appears on my face.

"As an actor?"

"Yup! You look..." She looked at me making me stop breathing "...dramatic." she said finally.

I just blinked at that and heard the chuckles of my group members. Damn them!

.

That's it! She said the word and now all of us were going to the Drama club.

Frankly, I liked the idea myself. As I imagined myself in costumes and on the stage. Hehe

Now six people were following me as Amy walked in front of me. I had a sudden stupid urge to take the clip off of her hair. But I clenched my fists behind my back. I don't want her to kill me. I'm still young and too charming to die.

I know Arm and Pol were following all of us. I bet they would be surprised to see me joining a real club. Haha

I only knew the Music club because of Kim and Chay. And I think I've heard of the Swimming club before but didn't remember when or from whom...

As for my brother Kinn, he's definitely not in any club as he didn't have any free time to spare doing any social activities. I felt bad for my brother's dangerous but boring as hell life. Chchch

As we were passing by a room, Amy teased me to join the Cooking club. I laughed a little and asked her if she wanted to see the whole college to burn down to ashes as soon as I entered the kitchen area. She shook her head at that. But I know she was smiling in front of me.

.

In theatre...

As we all entered, I looked around the area.

There was a stage and seats like they had in the cinema hall. There was a giant red curtain and I imagined my appearance from behind.

Woah~~ I'm sure my eyes are sparkling right now.

Amy was talking to some guy and motioned me to come over to her. I glanced at the average looking guy and went to them.

"This guy wants to join your club." She said while smiling.

"Sorry, we didn't have any place left." He said while sparing me a mere look. How dare he!

"But it's only been a month since semester start... how can there be no place left? I heard all the clubs were still open to join in." She was talking and I was busy glaring at the guy who seems to be enjoying himself for some reason. I wanted to wipe that happy look off his face.

"I don't know about the other clubs but we are not taking anyone." He said dismissing my Amy.

That's it! Now I have to use my dangerous charm on this good-for-nothing idiot. She was thinking something when I stepped in.

"If you don't have any place left then make a new one...for me." I said in an arrogant voice.

"Excuse me!" He felt offended. Good!

"Just write my name down in your membership list or whatever." I ordered him.

"I think you didn't hear what I said earlier." He rolled his eyes at me. I stood right in front of him trying to intimidate him.

"Write. My. Name. Down." I said one word at a time. "Tankhun Theerapanyakul."

As soon as he heard my name his eyes widened. Hah I can clearly see his face going pale. Oh, I love this kind of faces.

"Y-yes? Okay, I will..." He almost tripped as he took a step back. Hah pathetic!

I was smirking at him and glanced at Amy. She didn't look...happy.

Wh-what happened? I thought she wanted me in this Drama club.!

"Just forget it. I'll take him to my club. We still had some places left." She stated flatly to the pale guy.

"Sorry to disturb you. Let's go, Tankhun!" She said while taking a step back. Well, that's fine with me too. I shrugged and turned to go when we heard a voice more like a squeak.

"Wait!!" He cleared his throat "I mean you don't need to leave. We had places I was just joking around." He said hastily. Amy and I looked at each other.

"So, you were just messing with us?" Amy asked while crossing her arms.

"Yes! Just don't go. Wait here until the main guy... I mean the club president came back." He mumbled.

"So, you are not the president?" Amy asked louder. He rubbed his nape and smiled embarrassingly. Bloody hell! "Then why did you..?"

"I was just joking around." He smiled.

Oh I wanted Arm to shoot this guy. What a waste of her time and my dangerous charm! I was glaring at him. He glanced at me and took a step back unconsciously.

"I'm sorry... just wait a little bit more. Or you can just look around. I'm leaving." He said and dashed out leaving us in the awkwardness.

.

She jumped to sit on the stage. I just leaned near her on the edge of the stage, crossing my arms on my chest. I was looking around when from the corner of my eye I saw her waving both of her hands happily.

Why in the hell she's this happy to see someone that's not me... and who is that freaking someone that caused her happy waving in the air!? I glanced at her to see in which direction she was looking at and turned to look in the line of her sight only to find...

Sigh~ My personal dumb and dumber - Arm and Pol.

They were here too, sitting on the back side looking around but keeping close eyes on me. They were looking at Amy. Pol smiled and moved his hand up and down as if to decide to wave back or not. Amy chuckled at him. And I saw Arm nodding a little at her, making Amy frown for some reason.

Now that she knows about them, there's no need to hide them from her sight anymore. And they know it too.

.

We waited for seven minutes and thirty-six seconds when the President guy finally appeared. The con-guy we met earlier was talking to him while looking at us. Then the President directly came to greet us and offered his hand to a handshake. I looked at his face... well he's kinda okay-looking guy.

I glanced at his hand, and he reached out to me. I kept looking at it when I felt a light nudge from behind and then I had to do the handshake halfheartedly. He smiled at Amy and reached his hand out towards her too but before it could go any further, I shook that hand too.

He blinked at me then smiled. Also, he apologized for the misbehavior of the con-guy. And I accepted his apology. I mean why not!

.

As soon as I signed in, everyone who came with me clapped their hands for me. I was happy as now I don't feel like lacking anything. Hell yeah!

.

.

Back at home...

I was watching the TV while lying on my couch when I heard small footsteps and then a small knock on the door. I waited a little bit for whoever it is to come in on their own as I was busy.

"Brother Khun?" I heard a little hesitated voice of Chay. As soon as I knew who came to visit, I sat up and patted the couch while looking at him happily. He smiled and came forward to sit with me.

"Hey what's going on? Did something happen? Do you want something? Was my brother ignoring you! Did you block his number, again? Do you want me to take revenge on him...!?" I asked all the possible reasons for him to come to see me. He giggled a little as if he never done the things I mentioned just now. I wanted to roll my eyes at him but didn't.

Well, he's the youngest in the house. He has the privilege to come to any of the adult brothers if he wanted something. I rubbed his head with great affection and smiled like a mother to his baby owl.

He was happy to see me. And I'm glad to know that. I mean there were only a few people who felt that specific emotion to see me. Not that I'm in any place to complain, haha.

"So how's college? Did you study well?" I asked like an adult and he nodded like an obedient kid he is. "Why didn't I see you anywhere in the college?" I furrowed my eyebrows

"Did you come to see me? Did you come find me in classes?" He asked excitedly.

"Oh, so you were in the classroom... and here I was looking for you in the garden area and canteens." I made a thoughtful face while joking with him.

It took him a minute to understand the joking part and then he laughed. What a boy! I just shook my head.

"I take all the classes." He exclaimed.

"What a thing to brag about!" I made a face again "You should skip some of the classes too, to enjoy college life."

"I go to the Music club to enjoy it." He said in defense.

"That's a duty too. You should do things in a more rebellious way. Like skipping classes or not doing your homework. Or just waste some time here and there before going to the class and then pretended to be late. Understand!?" I looked at him till he nodded yes. "Good! Now tell me why you came?"

"Oh yes!" He clapped his hands as if he remembered that just now. "I was waiting for you yesterday but you didn't come back till midnight. And I accidentally fell asleep." He made a disappointed face. I rubbed his back to cheer him up.

"Why were you waiting for me so eagerly?"

"Oh about that..." He smiled brightly making me curious "Yesterday, I attended a mock-lecture in college!" He said excitedly, ruining my mood with his study talk "You know what a mock-lecture is, right?"

"Of course, I know... But you're still welcome to enlighten me some more." In reality, I have no idea what that damn thing is.

.

"Ummm... In mock-lecture all the freshmen got a mock-teacher." He was saying and I made a confused face. What the hell is this kid blabbering about! "Forget it! It's just a class in which a senior comes to teach the juniors."

"Why would anyone want to do that!" I interrupted him and he chuckled a little as if remembering something.

"So yesterday when I went to class, I met someone." Now I'm back in being curious. As I'm all in for the gossip, I paid full attention to this little kid. "It was a girl. She was smart and beautiful." He was smiling and I stared at him waiting for him to tell me everything. "A really awesome senior!" His eyes were sparkling now while looking at me for some reason.

"...?" Oh kay, now I'm kinda lost.

"She was in the same major and year as you." He pressed on the last word while looking at me.

"What does that have to do with me? Why are you telling me this?" My curiosity was going down drastically "Don't tell me you waited for me the whole evening just to tell me about this..." I turned my head to look at the TV screen.

What a waste of attention! This kid is a mood killer!

"But she was beautiful!" He murmured trying to get my attention back "And Macau asked if she was single then..." He was saying when I turned to look at him.

Well, well he successfully get my attention back. He stopped and blinked as he see me turn to look at him again.

"...she didn't tell us about her relationship status." He made a sad face for some reason.

"Why did my little cousin ask that?" I narrowed my eyes with severe curiosity.

"Oh, his friends were curious and only he got the guts to ask that question. And that awesome senior called him 'Mr. Pigeon'." He said the last sentence in a whispering way, making me fall from the couch while laughing hard.

"Whoever that senior is, I liked to thank her personally." I said between laughing.

"She is your class fellow." He reminded me.

"What was her name?"

"..." No answer, he just blinked.

"Don't tell me you forgot!" He nodded slowly I just roll my eyes. "What about you... did you ask any questions?" He nodded again. I sat back on the couch.

"I asked the same question as Macau." He said shyly, I lifted my eyebrows.

"Whyever did you ask about her relationship status?"

"For you?" His face turned pink.

"What would I do after getting this piece of information!?" I asked, trying not to sound sarcastic.

"Well... Date her!" He muttered in a little voice but I clearly heard him. And my eyes widen dramatically.

"Wh-what!!!!" I yelled at him making him jump in his seat. "Why would you do something like that without asking me first?"

"I'm asking you now..." He's right.

"Thank you. But my answer is NO." I held my head high.

"Why?"

"For one I don't know anything about her."

"She is beautiful and smart... And cool." He said proudly counting on his fingers.

"That's not enough. What about her name and her family name or background!?" I counted backwards to close his fingers.

"Well, she did tell us her name... I'll ask my friend and let you know later. And as for the surname... she didn't tell us."

"Ahaa see! she's hiding her true self. Not letting you know her surname means she's poor or from a low class."

"Well, she gave a logical reason behind not telling us..."

"Don't be silly, there's no logical reason behind hiding one's true self. Imagine if she's from a big family, she would definitely brag about it."

"She doesn't look poor! Or from low class..." He defended her at once.

"So was your beautiful and smart senior come from a Royal family?" I asked sarcastically.

"..."

"Just let it go lil' Chay."

"But you could meet her..." He started to convince me.

"No need. I'm happy as I'm now. I don't want the girl, you're talking about." I pressed on the word want specifically.

"But..."

"No means no." I dismissed him. I know he wanted someone good for me. And I don't want to make him feel bad. But I have far better plans for myself. I won't think about any other girl no matter if she's beautiful or smart...or royal.

Amy is enough. And she is many more than just beautiful and smart. I smiled to myself while looking at the TV. Chay grabbed a cushion and placed it on his lap to watch TV with me.

I patted his head. Don't mind kiddo! I'll show you a more awesome and mind-blowing senior. Haha
