Karin went limp in his arms, and Isagi, knowing who the approaching enemy was, used the dust to his advantage and flashed away with Karin, not yet the time to face him.
A while after Isagi left, three figures appeared at the spot where he was, leading them a tall man with grey hair, round glasses, Konoha forehead protector on his forehead.
Behind him were two equally tall shinobi, their face covered with masks, with only the eye area visible.
"Nice, just the scroll we needed." Kabuto sat down next to the corpses of Kusa shinobi and, rummaging through their ninja pouch, finding what they were looking for.
"Should we chase them?" Yoroi, the man with sunglasses, asked, stepping forward, his eyes in the direction which Isagi had escaped to, even with the dust covering him Isagi not able to evade his eyes.
"Although I'm interested in someone able to use ninjutsu of such scale," spoke Kabuto while pushing his glasses with the index finger, gazing at the chunks of mud wall scattered around, the jutsu which had perfectly neutralized his attack. "It will delay us from our real goal… so good luck for them."
Yoroi and Misumi didn't press further to chase the enemy after hearing his words, knowing they needed to complete Orochimaru's order, and if they didn't only death would await them.
Carrying the unconscious Karin, Isagi brought her to the tower and, placing her right outside one of the entrances, disappeared, knowing here she would be discovered by proctors of the exam and her life wouldn't be in danger.
Thud!
As Isagi had expected, those in the control room of the tower soon spotted the unconscious girl, and while she was deemed failed in the second exam, still taking her inside for treatment.
"Now then… lets see what you got."
Back in his room, Isagi, after washing up and having lunch, sat cross-legged on the tatami floor and, with an anticipating look, opened Karin's property panel.

"As expected of an Uzumaki… but damn if the successful replication chances aren't t low." Isagi was almost drooling after seeing the abilities on the panel and how he wished they had 100% replication rate and he could copy all of them.
But knowing that was just a fantasy, he shook off these thoughts and began to ponder on what to choose. He could choose three out of these four, and successfully replicating any single ability would be a huge boost for him.
"HA!"
After a long thought, Isagi let out a long breath and his eyes showed a determined look.
"I choose 1, 2 and 3." As Isagi made his choice, the selection column disappeared, replaced by a spinning blue-orange circle.
While it's true that the fourth choice clearly had more chances of replication, Isagi didn't want an incomplete and un-awakened ability, so he decided to leave this choice for the future.
The wait lasted a few seconds, and the words that flashed brought a slightly conflicted look on Isagi's face.

The words flashed, and once again his body was enveloped by that unique force, the chakra in his body bubbling and increasing every milli-second, the unique force acting on his senses.
The feeling lasted for nearly ten seconds, and as gradually things returned to normal, Isagi finding himself completely different from before.
While his chakra had increased a lot, what truly shocked Isagi was that a new ability which didn't require any hand sign seemed to have been mastered by him.
Isagi closed his eyes, and his perception began to magnify — his room, the rooms next to his, then the whole tower and then even the whole forest, all appearing within his perception with quite a few chakra signatures moving around, showing no one in the forest escaped his perception.
"I can even distinguish the chakra signatures so clearly." Using Mind's Eye of Kagura, Isagi noticed how easy it was for him to distinguish from person to person just based on their chakra, while other sensory shinobi could do the same but he had it much easier and could do it on a large scale from long distances.
"That must be Naruto… and Gaara…" In his perception Isagi noticed two special chakra signatures, while their own chakra pretty good as well but them having another source of chakra in their bodies, that chakra far surpassing their own and full of oppression.
