The courier outside the fort is shivers when he walk to front gate. He is not courageous enough to deliver the message about Adam's defeat to the Chieftain of Qara Yay. He asks one of the Jelek men, standing in the wooden wall to assist him.
The couriers's hesitantly ask Udmurt permission to enter. He is afraid of the Chief's temper.
"What news you two bring for me." Udmurt gives them permission. The one who accompanied the courier only gaze once at him. He did not want to talk.
"Chief Udmurt are tasked to reinforce Adam's forces." He is hesitant to explain more.
"Could you elaborate, how far the enemies from our Fort? We must prepare the ambush then," Udmurt ask.
"I apologize Chieftain but Miss Nana said that we must be haste. It's the only thing she said to us!" the man is lying because he's so afraid.
"Ah i know, be haste you said. That must be it, why both of you did not tell me earlier. Militias ...," Udmurt suddenly raise from his table.
Smash!
Udmurt the Chief of Qara Yay is enraged inside his work's tent. A chair is snapped in two behind the couriers.
"We apologize," both of them cowers in fear.
"Hey why did you bring me to this," the man beside him is angry.
"So pathetic! both of you follow me. Right in my behind. Prepare my horses," Udmurt drill the two militias.
"Yes Chief!" the two rush to the fort's stable.
The freed slaves rallied behind Udmurt. Tallying almost a thousand men, he ordered the women to stay in the fort. Their task was simple: to wait for a victory that seemed almost certain.
Newcomers must accept their new rules. Jelek take command of the defence in their base while Udmurt is attacking.
"Why would our Leader save him too. I don't understand, perhaps most of his riders are spearman. Could he not just retreat after thrusting a few times!?' Udmurt murmured while gripping hard his horse's reins.
Quarter of Adam 400 horsemen were the Qara Yays. More than one third of clansmen were perished.
"Chief Udmurt!" Nana shouts, Manila is with her. Behind both of them, there are numerous female horse archer.
"Priestess!" Manila jump and shouts several times at Tiki. The girl is allowed to shed tears in her shoulder.
"Nana, elaborate this! Do we warriors truly look that desperate to you? How many more secrets are you going to keep from me huh," Udmurt demanded, his voice tight with rage.
Nana as the daughter of Great Leader are in the same ranks of power as Udmurt the Chief.
"Miss Nana simply want us to help her. My name is Mumtaz. The wife of Kure," she dismount the horse to introduce herself.
"I'm the one who encourage them. Some of us perhaps are good at archery or hurling atlatl," Nana speak at Udmurt with determination.
"What a groups of rockheaded girls and women. I give up but Don't forget Nana. I'am still your Uncle," Udmurt remind her. He and Dilara are second cousins.
Tiki and her much smaller forces resume their advance. All of the Koryak warriors smile when they see their former priestess, though they are now men of Iltas's Horde. Expressing their joy only subtly, fearing Udmurt reaction. Tiki forms the rear guard behind Nana 300 female horse archers.
Udmurt moves his steed's faster. He along with two men from earlier were in the forefront position. Thick smokes fills the air inside the woods. The unit of nearly 1.500 militias moved through the thorny, unburned bushes.
—
Adam and his men block the retreating path of moving enemies. The men tighten their spear. Trying to hold the enemies that were breaking in from the militia's hold. Blazes of flame already spread. Limiting both of the forces movement.
Slash!
"Little more!" Adam still try to hold his spear's tight, even when his left hands is slashed.
One by one his men were cut down. "Aarrgghh Chief!" similar shouts can be heard several times.
The enemies could barely be held by Adam. A few had already slipped from his grasp, prompting Okular's forces to hasten their movement. Adam throw his spear's to stop one of their warriors escaping.
"We must retreat! Iltas tricked us," the remaining men plead to him.
"Preposterous," Adam grab his sword's from the scabbard.
ltas and Yami rush from the rear. His force's run as fast they could to strike the enemies. They move like an angry mob, the movement is unorganized. Iltas dances at the enemy, giving Adam chance to seize glory.
"How!" Kurava is surprised when Adam already grabbed his right knee. Throwing the column leader from his yak.
"You think the win is yours? It's us," Adam reply. Both of them did not understand each other.
Stab!
The enemies could not hold attacks from two sides simulteanously. Iltas and Adam keep rallying their men to push. All of Kurava's men were decimated by the pincer movement. Refusing to be the slaves, they fought hard until the end.
"Ah we are too late. The bash are already over," Mukmuk and his forces moves in. They act as decoy for Okular.
"Well better to start the new one. Right Lord Ak Yay?" Mokmok ready his axe's.
"Hoho bring it on!" Adam clench his jaw's.
Yak cavalries trembles the ground. Iltas order the militia to disperse, avoiding the beasts charge.
"Retreat!" Iltas gives order to his men.
"Cowards," Mukmur flail his weapon's.
"We hear that but both of us will not retreat just yet. His order is for the lower member of clansmen. Are you ready," Adam taunt him to do 2 vs 2 duel.
Burn!
"Of course," Yami ignire his blade. He smear the scabbard with fat oil.
"Haha showing off that useless move eh? Let us accept their challenge brother. The rest of you can chase that man," Mokmok did not want to bothered in their duel.
The ground tremble once more as the Yak Cavalry follow Mokmok order. Mukmuk the older of the two, swings his axe's menacingly. Mukmuk and Mokmok held the advantage in the duel as they are with their mount.
"So boring, only avoiding. Show me!" Mukmuk is pressing Yami hard into the flames.
"Watch out you--," Adam shout.
Ting!
"Your opponent is me. Don't say you already forgot," Mokmok smiles confidently. Already certain in their victory.
Yami's fire is almost extinguished. He ignite the flame by dipping it on a burned trees. Mukmuk ready to give the young man a final blow. Yami is cornered, behind him are the violent burning blazes.
Mukmuk confident smiles turn into horror as he saw his axe fall with the right hand. Yami deflect the throwing knife from enemy as he become more desperate. Yami thrust his burning blade in the heart's of enemy.
"You talk to much," Yami's blade is still blazing.
"Older brother!" Mokmok enraged.
Wuit!
A strange voices suddenly echoes across the forest. Mokmok drop from his mount and throw his axe's into the Mukmuk yak. The alpha of the pack try to ram it's sharp horns against the two. Followed by other yaks.
Mokmok bring his brother bodies with him in his ahoulders. Escaping to the banks of river, jumping through rock formations.
