After Vice Minister Ban and his group left, the Worker of Ministry of Industry took the construction plans, gathered a team of masters, and began to repair the breached city wall.
Qin San Lang and his soldiers were given tasks too; before setting off for Daokou Gully, they were loaned out to help repair the city walls.
General Liang said, "There's simply no one else available, so I need you to lend a hand. Rest assured, I've arranged it so that only half of you will work each day while the other half will rest, rotating shifts, so it won't be too tiring."
Yet, the work on the city wall is anything but easy.
However, this is still better than fighting on the battlefield. General Liang also provides meals and gives extra rations to the accompanying family members, making the soldiers more willing to work on the city wall.
When Gu Jinli heard about this, she asked Qin San Lang, "You agreed to it; won't General Xu be displeased?"
