Chapter 396 - Chapter 396: Artificial Mana Crystal!

Ever since that night, the mansion has been somewhat lifeless; my wives were disappointed and sad, creating a depressed atmosphere that lingered for days. We hadn't taken any quests since then and had been holed up in the estate; save for Lazuli, none of my wives had yet accepted the situation.

Sitting in the workshop, balancing the chair on its back legs, I raised my head, glancing behind me at Lazuli, who had just opened the door. "What are you doing?" "Nothing much." Yawning, I outstretched my arm, grabbing Lazuli's wrist and yanking her onto my lap, prompting me to sit correctly.

Shifting her body, Lazuli faced me, planting gentle kisses on my neck while I looked up at the ceiling. "You're excited." "How could I not be?" Briefly glancing down at Lazuli, she began grinding atop my lap, causing me to softly exhale. "Did you come here just for this?" Grabbing Lazuli's thighs, I lifted her onto the table while staring into her lustrous blue eyes.

"No. I just wanted to be with you." Faintly smiling at her words, I kissed Lazuli before sitting down, plopping my head onto her thighs. With how my wives had been feeling lately, I haven't been in the 'love-making' mood, so even though Lazuli's honeypot was right before me, I didn't do anything.

"Have you given up creating an artificial mana crystal?" As Lazuli stroked my head, I shook my head between her thighs, only to stand upright a few moments later. "However, I haven't tried for a few months, so I can suppose I'll give it a go." "You'll fail." "Wow, thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm glad to know my wife is supporting me." "The best support I can offer is a realistic prediction based on the past."

I rolled my eyes at Lazuli's remark. "That's just a fancy way of saying an educated guess." Lifting Lazuli, I placed her on the seat I'd previously been sitting at and shifted my gaze to the mostly empty table.

Briefly glancing at Lazuli, who was patiently sitting behind, I took a deep breath and focused; using Dragon Tongue, I commanded the atmospheric mana to gather. "Gather." As roughly a fourth of my life-force gets instantly consumed, only to be rapidly refilled, the air faintly vibrated as all the atmospheric mana nearby gathered above the table.

Using [Heroes Gaze], I was able to see a rainbow-colored aura floating above the table, prompting me to surge my Will towards the mana; however, even with Heroes Gaze, I wasn't able to see my Will. 'Maybe it's not a high-enough level yet.' Among my Mythical skills, it was the lowest. Shaking my head, ridding myself of pointless thoughts and distractions, I focused intensely, pouring my desire, intent, emotions, thoughts, memories, my everything, into my Will as I surrounded the mana.

Once it was surrounded correctly, I began forcefully compressing it, causing the rainbow-arua to slowly grow brighter as it became denser. Eventually, it reached a point where it was the size of my head, causing it to glow brightly, shining more intensely than a bonfire; this was usually my limit, yet now, after a few months of training, meditation, and practice, it was no longer.

Faintly smirking, I compressed it even more, causing the rainbow-arua to grow increasingly bright, to the point where I felt like I would be forced to look away, though a moment later, the light began to subside, revealing a pure, crystal sphere slightly bigger than my fist.

Retracting my Will, I outstretched my hand, grabbing the mana crystal, which was by far the most pristine mana crystal I've ever laid eyes upon. Quickly testing it, I let it suck my mana, filling it up before setting it down, grinning when I noticed it wasn't leaking. "Hehe. Hahaha, yes! I fucking did it!"

Roaring with laughter, I grabbed the crystal and jumped in joy; with this, the concept of a TV, my future immense wealth, was now within sight. It was still far away, but now, it wasn't just a theory, but a real possibility.

"Alex, let me see it." Having forgotten Lazuli was present, I looked back at her shocked expression, only to grin while placing the crystal down. "You can examine it after I fill you up!" Wanting to share this joy, I bent Lazuli over the table, dropped our pants, grabbed her waist, and thrust inside her, filling her with my length.

"Urgh, s-so tight, I'm about to release already." Leaning down, sniffing her, I passionately kissed her neck while thrusting. "Hmm, this is a genuine mana crystal; no leaks, it handles rapid absorption and depletion of mana flawlessly. It's rather sturdy, possibly even more so than a natural mana crystal." While I was making love with Lazuli, she was busy examining my mana crystal with an awed expression, as if I wasn't currently thrusting into her.

'You! T-Take this!' Feeling my release near, I increased my intensity before thrusting deeply into her, spewing thick ropes of my seed deep inside her. "F-Fuck, that was intense." "Phenomenal achievement, my Husband." Setting the mana crystal down, Lazuli morphed her body, turning herself around without actually moving while smiling at me, causing me to scoff.

"Hmph, you couldn't have saved inspecting the mana crystal for later?" Looking down at her, she wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. "No. We've made love plenty of times, yet an artificial mana crystal has only been made once." As if to ease my annoyance, Lazuli kissed me, causing me to softly grumble.

However, just as I was about to continue where I'd left off, the door was busted open by Kurama, who hadn't yet left for some reason even after I'd handed her two vials of my ichor. "I sensed it, the mana anomaly occurred here." Muttered Kurama as she observed the workshop, only for her gaze to fall onto us.

"Fufu, my apologies, I didn't realize what was happening." Pervertedly smiling, Kurama closed and locked the door behind her before sitting down, causing me to awkwardly cough. "Shouldn't you, I don't know, LEAVE?" "No, I think I'm exactly where I should be."

Staring at her with a twitching expression, I removed myself from Lazuli and pulled my pants up. "Mhm, so big, I can't wait for my turn. Eh, wait, why are you stopping?" "Because I'm not into exhibitionism." "B-But I'm basically your soon-to-be mistress, so it should be fine to watch!" "Well, you can watch when you're officially my mistress."

Looking at Kurama with an unamused expression, she sighed in defeat and grumbled under her breath before eventually standing, returning to the reason she'd initially come here. "Anyway, since you two were here making love, you probably didn't sense the mana anomaly… Actually, how didn't the two of you feel? Besides me, you two are the best here when it comes to mana."

Tilting my head in confusion at her words, Lazuli tossed her the mana crystal, prompting me to snap my fingers in realization. 'She must be talking about that. Didn't realize it caused such a commotion.'

"A mana crystal? What's this about?" Kurama cluelessly observed the mana crystal before glancing at Lazuli. "Inspect it closely." At her words, Kurama furrowed her brows and did so, spending a whole minute, yet only confusion remained. "Are you two pranking me?" Seeing how she couldn't discern anything, I couldn't help but grin at my flawless creation.

"Kurama, come here, let me show you." Gesturing to Kurama, who approached closer, I performed the act of creating an artificial mana crystal once more, and this one was even bigger than the first one.

"The world's second artificial mana crystal." Grabbing the crystal, I flashed a grin at Kurama, who was silently staring at me like a statue. Slowly, she glanced at the mana crystal in her hand before shifting it to the one in my hand, causing her to audibly gulp and point at it. "Heh, yep, that's the first one."

Switching the mana crystals with Kurama, I placed the first on a nearby shelf. "You can keep the second one, think of it as a gift." At my words, Kurama continued to silently stare at the crystal in her hand, only to shake her head while taking a deep breath.

"A-Alex, besides the mana anomaly, I-I had been wanting to speak with you." As Kurama regained her composure, her expression became solemn, causing me to raise an eyebrow. "Well, I'm all ears, Kurama."

"Your problem, regarding your Ichor, I-I might've found a solution." Frowning, I leaned forward, staring intensely at her. "What kind of solution?" "In the Daemon Continent. There exists a species capable of controlling one's blood; if it's them, there's a chance they can solve your problem."

Only one species came to my mind at Kurama's words; it's a species I didn't even know existed, as I hadn't encountered them. "A Vampire?" "Yes, the demon sub-species. A Vampire."
