After opening the letter, there are two papers in it. The one on top I started to read out loud.

Dear Mr. Tonks,
We are pleased to inform you that you have a place at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment.
Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

After reading the acceptance letter to Hogwarts, Nymphadora ran over and hugged me.
"I am so happy that I can finely go to Hogwarts with you. Even though it will only be for a year since I graduate this year." She said, and toward the end, she got sad knowing that we only get to go together for one year.
While she was hugging me, Andromeda came over and grabbed the supply list.
"Will it looks like we have shopping to do today? You need three sets of plain work robes, black in color –
One plain pointed hat is also in black for daywear –
one pair of protective gloves dragon hid or similar quality—
A winter cloak in black with silver fastenings. Plus, we have to get the names on your robes."
She stopped looking at the list for a second before reading some more,

She did not finish the list but gave it to Nymphadora to finish it. While she went up stair to get ready for the shopping of the day since Nymphadora also got her list just before me.
"You will also need.
One wand –
One Cauldron, pewter, or standard size 2 –
One telescope –
One set of brass scales –
And if you want an owl, cat, or a toad. However, if you let them know beforehand, they will accept other animals. I know this one Weasley boy who had a rat for a time as his pet."
After she read the list, Mother came down the stairs, ready to leave.
"Are you guys ready to go? We must hurry if we want to get home for lunch. Also, do not worry about the response letter. I already sent one when you looked at the remaining items on the list."
"Thank you, Mother. I am ready to go whenever you guys are ready." I said while getting my shoes on.
"How are we getting there?" Nymphadora asked while also getting her shoes on.
"We will be going by Floo powder. Since that will be the best way to travel with Alexander." Mother said, walking to the chimney.
Nymphadora and I walk over to the chimney.
"Okay, Nymphadora, you will go first, then Alexander, I will go last." Mother said, grabbing the bowl of Floo powder.
"I told you I do not like being called Nymphadora. Call me Tonks." She retorted.
"Yeah, yeah, I forgot. 'Tonks' let's get going." Mother said, rushing her to hurry up.
She grabbed some powder stepping into the chimney before yelling, "DIAGON ALLEY."
Some green flames shot up from the floor, and then she disappeared.
"Okay, honey, it is your turn."
Walking up to her and grabbing some powder. I walked into the chimney and cleared my throat before yelling, "DIAGON ALLEY."
Green flames shot up from the floor, wrapping around my body and teleporting me to Diagon Alley.
(Several hours later)
"Okay, we got everything on the list for both of you besides a pet and a wand for Alexander." Mother said, walking ahead with Nymph.
While we walked to the pet shop, Magical Menagerie, we saw a giant man in the store buying a white owl.
Nymph seeing him, yelled out, "Hagrid is that you?"
The giant man named Hagrid turned around and looked over in our direction. Seeing Nymph, he started waving at us.
"Tonks, is that you? You are here for your shopping. But why are you coming to Magical Menagerie? I thought you already have a pet?" Hagrid said, walking over to us with a bird cage in hand and an owl inside it.
"Yes, Hagrid, I still have my pet, but we are here for my brother Alexander. It is his first year at Hogwarts, and he just got his letter." She said with great enthusiasm.
While they talked, my mother and I walked into the shop to find my pet. Searching the shop, I found a gray Mackerel cat staring at me.
When I saw this cat, I knew it was the pet I wanted. I walked over to it and picked it up. Holding it in my arms, I could feel it purr while I walked over to my mother.
"This is the cat I want, Mother," I told her.
"Okay, dear. It is an adorable cat too. What are you going to name him." She said that while paying for the cat.
"I think Skooma will be his name. It just feels right." I said while petting Skooma.
Right when Mother and I left the store, Nymphadora ran over.
"Mother, you will not believe who is at Ollivanders right now." She said in a whisper.
Being intrigued with how she was whispering said, "Oh, and who would be at Ollivanders right now?"
"Harry Potter. Hagrid told me since he is guiding him for his shopping right now."
Hearing the name, she was shocked, and I was pretty amazed.
"Well, maybe we will bump into him since we are heading there now for Alexander's wand." Mother said with a bit of excitement in her voice.
