"Then what else can explain it? Maybe I really am an alien or something, and my gender change somehow awaken my dormant alien traits." Mizuhana explained her theory with a relatively serious look on her face.
"So what you're saying is, you're from some alien planet called deviluke or something? Will your penis returns if you sneeze?" Kousuke muttered with a chuckle, recalling a certain anime he watched on youtube a few years ago. The plot makes zero sense as well because, how in the world does squeezing boobs, even by accident, is considered as proposal? That's outright sexual harassment and the accusation could land someone in a jail.
"Ah! I know that one! It's called To-Love or something right? Kuh! I really envied the main character and his ability to grope girl even by slipping over nothing. Now that is a harem king in the making!" Issei said with a perverted smile. It was one of the few ecchi anime that he wouldn't mind rewatching countless times over. He could even recalled the reference Kousuke brings up, it was a character who could change both her gender personality after every sneeze, she goes by Run Elsie Jewelria.
"I knew that anime as well—not, that's not what I'm talking about! Sigh, you guys are useless. Maybe I shouldn't have asked you two, to begin with. Plus, if it weren't for your game, I wouldn't have to live like this anyway," Mizuhana said with a piercing glare at Kousuke. The latter simply whistle, pretending to enjoy the warmth breeze brushing against his body.
"Game... Oh, I got it!" Issei suddenly exclaimed after smacking his thigh, his face looks like he had been enlightened. Kousuke briefly narrowed his eyes as the corner of his lips curled up before his expression returns to normal. He decided to play along and acts surprise by the Oppai Dragon's sudden proclamation.
"I think I remembered browsing the forum yesterday and ran into a couple of strange posts." Issei's words came to a halt, closing his eyes shut as if trying to force himself to flashback to that night. He then continues. "They were saying that they feels much healthier after playing the game, some even proclaimed they regained their youthful stamina and were able to satisfied their wife after so long. I think the last one is probably fake but you can guess where I'm going with this."
"You think the game is the cause?" Mizuhana said with uncertainty. She also discreetly glances at Kousuke, hoping to see any clues that he might knows but the person himself appears just as clueless as her, if his expression is anything to go by.
"Yeah, I mean think about it. The game made you to a girl, then why shouldn't it possible for it to make you stronger?" Issei said, she couldn't help but agreed with his thinking. Unlike her theory, this one is grounded at the very least. "And if I'm right, there must a reason why you suddenly have superhuman strength—just like how you got cursed in the game."
"...That does sounds plausible," Mizuhana mumbles, she begins pondering on the past few days if anything peculiar happened to her in the game. As far as she recalled however, nothing came to mind. There's no 'Aha, this is it!' moment. Heck, she felt even more clueless than before.
"Nothing at all? Like maybe you reached a certain level or something? Or unlocking some hidden class?" Issei suggested. He had also played the game with Rias, but for some reasons, his game character seemed to be very unlucky. When he thought he ran into rare quest, it turned out the NPC was a fraud. Ddraig on the other hand was having a blast, in fact, the Red Dragon becomes quite well known amongst the players as a formidable berserker class. The two might have shared a capsule, yet it was able to identified their souls connection—thus, splitting them into different accounts each.
"Ah... That reminds me, after I was cursed by that dark magician, I tried looking for some kind of cure. But there was no other clues except the history book from the kingdom's library." She said with a sigh. "Honestly, playing as a female character has its benefits. I have joined countless party running EXP Farm, so my level were quite high by now. Last I recalled, somewhere in mid 50s."
"Your level is already that high?!" Issei gasped, his eyes widened slightly before groaning. "Damn... And here I am still hunting Lizardmen on my own so I'm around Level 30ish."
"Yeah, I think I reached Level 50 the day before I ran into those delinquents—ah."
"That's it! If I recalled correctly, most players were still around level 40ish. Breaking through level 50 cap is considered an accomplishment after all, so big guilds build their reputation around that sort of things." Issei voiced out his thought, she nodded as understanding dawned on her face. Then the two turned towards Kousuke almost simultaneously. The latter remained quiet after bringing up obscure ecchi anime, as if observing them.
Feeling their gazes on him, Kousuke shook his head with a smile.
"Oh well, looks like the secret is out." He muttered before snapping his fingers as their surrounding changed. The two begins scrutinized the endless white space, noticing the similarity it shared to that of character creation zone when they first entered the game. They understood immediately that they're now inside the virtual world. Even their school uniform had shifted to what their characters last worn.
"That's right. Any players who have reached level 50, they would inherited some percentage of their character total stats in reality."
"That's crazy! You're saying normal people can gain supernatural strength if they broke through the first level cap? The world will be in chaos!" Issei muttered in shock. He had thought his friend were making the game solely for fun, but to think there was some underlying secret all along!
"...But why? If everyone can gain this level of strength, won't they abuse it for evil?" Mizuhana mumbles with a frown. She couldn't help but recall the delinquent clique. What if those people also have special strength? They might comeback to her for revenge!
"Sigh, I don't want to do this either. But it's for the sake of world peace," Kousuke said solemnly.
