'If she runs to Anne Sutton and complains, I'll be toast...'
That afternoon, Sharon Sutton was admitted to the hospital.
David Hayes had specifically taken a few days off work to be with her.
Childbirth is an agonizing experience...
Sharon Sutton lay in bed, in absolute misery.
Mrs. Sutton stayed by her side.
Just then, someone walked in—it was Maya Evans and Yvonne Evans.
Seeing them, Mrs. Sutton froze for a moment. "What are you two doing here?"
Maya Evans said, "We heard Sharon was about to give birth. Her father asked us to come and check on her. As a man, it's not convenient for him to go into the delivery room."
Mrs. Sutton said coldly, "That won't be necessary. Please leave immediately!"
Yvonne Evans retorted, "If Dad hadn't asked us to, we wouldn't have wanted to come! We even brought gifts."
They placed the things they bought on the table.
Mrs. Sutton looked at the mother-daughter duo. "We really don't need them."
'They're just here to make us sick!'
