Charles Prescott didn't say anything.
After all, he was suddenly leaving the Fawcett Group, and he wasn't used to the idea yet.

It seemed he had no choice. Anne Sutton couldn't wait for him to leave, and Nathan Fawcett... Nathan would never forgive him because of what happened with the child. He truly had no options left.
Mia Shaw looked at him and said, "If you're okay with it, let's have lunch together tomorrow. My boss happens to be in town. You can meet him. What do you think?"
Charles replied, "Alright."
Mia didn't leave that night; she stayed at Charles's place.
The following day at noon, Charles and Mia went to meet her boss.
He had already reviewed Charles's resume, and since Mia had made the introduction, he was quite impressed with Charles. He offered him a management position there in Veridia.
They were a foreign-invested enterprise, so they wouldn't be influenced by the Linden Group. There were no reservations about having Charles come work for them.
