Chapter 84 - Chapter 85: The dragon balls of Planet Namek

At this moment, Cocotte felt as if the sky had collapsed. The green sky above her seemed to be pressing down, making her unable to breathe.

What should I do?

What am I supposed to do?

Both the Vice-Captain and Caselar have been captured!

I must find a way to contact the Captain as soon as possible!

Let the Captain come and deal with these demons.

Jiren's powerful figure flashed through her mind, and a glimmer of hope welled up in her heart.

However, she didn't know why, but the communication on the Spaceship had lost contact with headquarters.

She would just have to wait until she got back to the Spaceship to check it thoroughly.

"Rez, there is a house over there." Broly suddenly pointed at the strange house where the Grand Elder was located and said loudly, his arm extended and his finger pointing toward the circular white building.

The house was situated on a cliff, its circular roof glistening white in the sunlight, forming a sharp contrast with the dark brown rocks surrounding it.

Rez's lips curled up slightly, a smile appeared on his face, and a meaningful glint flashed in his eyes.

"Whoosh!"

Rez descended from the sky first, landing at the entrance of the house, his feet planted firmly on the rocky ground.

Grand Elder: "..."

Nail: "..."

The two stood speechless, their expressions freezing simultaneously.

Were we discovered after all?

Could we be any more unlucky?

Nail's lips twitched, and cold sweat slid down his forehead.

The Grand Elder's brows furrowed even tighter, a trace of helplessness flashing in his clouded eyes.

"Is anyone there?" Rez called out casually.

"I will go out!" Nail gritted his teeth and whispered to the Grand Elder, his voice extremely low, his fists clenched tight.

"Do not conflict with them! You are no match for them! Try your best to satisfy their wishes and let them leave here as soon as possible!" The Grand Elder urged earnestly, his clouded eyes looking at Nail, filled with concern.

"Understood, Grand Elder." Nail nodded gently, took a deep breath, his chest expanding, then exhaled slowly before stepping toward the door.

He walked out of the room and pushed the door open. The sunlight spilled onto his grass-green skin, slightly dazzling him; he squinted his eyes and then looked up.

The moment Nail saw Rez and Linoshi, he was momentarily stunned, his pupils contracting slightly, and his footsteps faltered.

Originally, Nail had sensed that there were five people in total on the opposing side.

The two from the righteous side had already had their energy signatures vanish.

Logically, there should only be three people left.

How did two more people appear?

Moreover, there was not a single trace of energy fluctuation from these two people. Even though they were standing right there, it was as if they were a void, a bottomless black hole, making him completely unable to perceive their existence.

"A Namekian?" Vegeta was taken aback. His gaze fell on Nail, sizing him up, and his brows furrowed slightly.

However, after saying that, Vegeta immediately came back to his senses, crossing his arms over his chest, chin slightly raised, his tail swaying gently behind him.

After all, this was Planet Namek; it would be strange if there weren't any Namekians.

After a brief moment of daze, Nail's gaze was immediately drawn to the two marble-sized orbs hanging around Rez and Linoshi's necks.

A golden light shimmered slightly in the sunlight, and although they were only the size of marbles, they radiated a sense of familiarity that almost made his blood freeze.

His pupils shrank violently, his grass-green face changed color slightly, his lips parted slightly, and a nearly inaudible murmur escaped his throat.

"This... this is..."

Isn't this a dragon ball?

Why are they wearing dragon balls around their necks?

"Who are you? What is your business on Planet Namek?" Nail suppressed the shock in his heart, took a deep breath, and tried hard to appear calm, but the fine beads of sweat seeping from his forehead betrayed his nervousness.

"We are Saiyans! Isn't that obvious?" Vegeta snorted coldly, arms crossed, chin held high, his tail swaying slightly behind him like a banner declaring his identity.

"Saiyans!" Nail's expression changed repeatedly, a layer of pale green spreading over his grass-green skin, and his fists clenched even tighter.

Because Nail had long heard that Saiyans were equivalent to Frieza's lackeys, invading other planets for them, leaving nothing but desolation in their wake, with countless civilizations wiped out under their butcher's knives.

Now, these few Saiyans had come to Planet Namek, perhaps with ill intent.

His gaze swept quickly over Rez and the others, alarm bells ringing in his heart.

"Rez, the environment on this planet is not bad. Should we take this planet down?" Vegeta suddenly became interested, turning his head to ask Rez, his eyes gleaming with eagerness.

"You... what did you say?" Nail's expression shifted, his fists clenched tightly as he assumed a fighting stance.

"There is no need for that. I am not interested in occupying other people's planets." Rez smiled, his tone flat, his eyes sweeping over the green sky and golden clouds of Planet Namek as if he were admiring the scenery.

"Suit yourself!" Vegeta huffed, crossing his arms, and said no more, though there was still a hint of reluctance in his eyes.

"Linoshi, I suddenly feel a very familiar energy signature." Rez turned his head to look at Linoshi, his brows raised slightly, silver-white starlight flashing deep within his pupils.

"What is it?" Linoshi was slightly taken aback, a hint of curiosity flashing in her eyes as she tilted her head to look at Rez.

Rez held up the dragon ball hanging around his neck, pointed at it with his finger, and said with a smile: "I sense an energy signature very similar to this thing, right inside that room!"

His gaze passed over Nail and landed on the tightly closed stone door, his eyes meaningful.

"I... I feel it too." Linoshi nodded in response, her eyes narrowing slightly, her slender fingers unconsciously clutching the one-star dragon ball on her chest.

"Hey Namekian, you should have something very similar to this pendant here, right? Hurry up and bring it out for me to see!" Rez turned to look at Nail, saying with a smile, his eyes carrying a hint of refusal-is-not-an-option.

Nail: "..."

Nail's heart sank violently, his throat tightened, and the sweat on his forehead slid down his cheeks.

Talk about fearing the worst!

They really were after the dragon balls!

This is truly terrible now.

What to do? What to do?

Countless thoughts flashed through his mind, each quickly dismissed by himself.

Fight, he couldn't win; hide, he couldn't hide it; lie, he couldn't deceive them.

"Nail, come inside." The Grand Elder's voice suddenly rang out in the room, old and calm, penetrating the stone door and clearly reaching everyone's ears, "Give this ball to the guests who have come from afar!"

The voice was unhurried, carrying a composure that seemed to see through the ways of the world.

"Yes!" Nail's heart trembled slightly, and he replied hurriedly, his voice somewhat hoarse.

The Grand Elder did not want to have too much conflict with this group of people.

His fists clenched and unclenched, clenched and unclenched, repeating several times, until finally, he took a deep breath, trying hard to calm himself down.
