For the first time since Jiang Yue had entered the villa, genuine terror appeared in them.
"No."
The word came out barely above a whisper.
Then she shook her head violently.
"No, no, you can't."
She stumbled backward.
"This is between you and me! Whatever happened between us, you can punish me for that, but this has nothing to do with those women!"
Jiang Yue said nothing.
Yan Chun Hua's breathing grew faster.
"Jiang Yue, please."
The arrogance was gone from her voice now.
So was the confidence.
There was only fear.
"Don't do this to me."
Jiang Yue looked at her without the slightest trace of pity.
"Why not?"
Yan Chun Hua stared at her.
Jiang Yue's eyes were cold.
"Isn't this what you did to them?"
Yan Chun Hua's lips began to tremble.
"They begged too, didn't they?"
Silence.
"They were frightened too."
Jiang Yue's voice remained quiet, but every word seemed to sink deeper than a shout ever could.
