Through the memory thread that connected him with Nyxara, Eos could almost feel the gluttonous desire from Nyxara as she responded to his words,
"Are you going to be using your children as bait? I did not expect that from you."
Eos scoffed, "You wish. No, in this situation, I have something better. We use the Beast of Final Rest as bait."
"That has occurred to me," Nyxara sighed, "But whatever methods that Beast employs are beyond me; I cannot pursue it into the layers of Existence that it moves through. Even though it is broken and leaking Origin Force from its near-dissipation."
"Well, it is a good thing that I have been in contact with the Beast," Eos replied and waited for Nyxara's swears of anger to pass, before he continued, "I will contact it. Promise it salvation, a place to hide while it recovers. The deer is arrogant enough to believe I would rather use it than kill it."
"And why are you not," Nyxara said, "Using it rather than killing it?"
