Fairy Wings Distribution Center, at its base, was a gorgeous building of old England village architecture. Made of brown wood beams, tan plastered walls, and some sections made of burgundy brick. One was truly taken back to the old days of England, until you get a look at the dark, depressing factory made of cement and blowing out black fumes into the sky directly behind it.
Despite that big, ugly cement blotch on the scenery, the property at ground level was quite dandy and pretty. Lawns of lush, green grass that soothed the ear with the tune of crickets, apple trees, strawberry bushes, ponds that croaked with the peaceful sound of frogs, and a miniature water mill that carried water from the stream in an everlasting, circular wheel motion. Andrew was caught off guard by such beauty but he quickly remembered what dwelled within, and what dwelled within, was anything but beautiful.
Teenie had woken up shortly before Andrew pulled into the driveway and was now perched on his shoulder.
"How could such a horrible place be so pretty?" Teenie asked as Andrew pulled up the guard shack which was a small, brick cottage and a roof made of straw. A man walks out of the shack wearing a silly rabbit costume, or at least at first glance it was a man in a costume. This costume was very well made, especially the head. The man in the supposed costume was able to move his ears and twitch his nose and blink his beady eyes. The sight of this rabbit made Teenie giggle. He looked bored and uninterested in the job of sitting in that cottage all night. He jotted down information of the truck on a clipboard without saying a word.
"It's a bunny-man", Teenie says, observing the guard from behind Andrews head. "I've never seen a bunny that big before."
"It's just a guy in a costume", Andrew assures.
"Picking up or delivering?" the guard bunny asked in a deep and growly voice.
"Delivering." Andrew answered.
"Alright, pull up so I can check the seal."
"Uh, about the seal", Andrew scratched his cheek. "We don't have one anymore, I guess." The guard bunny's expression doesn't change.
"Alright, head to the office but they're gonna want to know what happened to the seal and bitch about who knows what else, so get ready. Proceed." The guard bunny raises the gate and Andrew drives through.
Andrew parks the truck near the receiving office and as soon as he set the brakes, Oliver rips through the curtain.
"What did you tell them about the seal?" Oliver snarls.
"Nothing. Guard didn't really care." Andrew says.
"He was a silly bunny-man!" Teenie laughs.
"That thing is still in my truck!?" Oliver snaps. "Why didn't you-"
Teenie flies up and gets in Oliver's face.
"Hey! I'm not that thing! I'm a fairy person! A fairly nice person, too! Now you stop being a mean, bitter old man because we're here to save lives and put a bunch of nasty, evil witches away! Do you understand!? Do I make myself clear!!"
Oliver is taken aback in shock, left speechless. He was more surprised at the fact that she was screaming in his face rather than the fact she is a fairy, one creature he hadn't believed in previously.
"Now you either come on and help us?" Teenie continued. "Or you sit here in your precious truck and stay out of our way!"
Teenie flied out of the window and made her way to the receiving office entrance. Andrew looked at Oliver awkwardly and caught a glimpse of Oliver looking back at him, frozen and in silence. He had just been put in his place by a tiny fairy and in front of his trainee. It was a cringe moment for sure. Andrew gets out of the truck and goes to join Teenie at the entrance to the receiving office before he sucked his butthole up into his own stomach from cringing so hard.
