Chapter 89 - Renovating the Ship

"The base layer," Thomas decided, capping the last bottle. "I'll call you Cloud Beer. Simple, refreshing, and abundant."

He stepped back, surveying his kingdom. He had 650 bottles of various grades of "liquor" in a world that didn't know the meaning of the word. But then, the cold reality of economics set in.

"How do I price this?"

Thomas fell into a deep silence, pacing the deck as the ghost ship drifted through the white fog. He needed to be careful. If he priced them too low, he would never be able to afford the ship's maintenance or his own advancement. If he priced them too high, he'd never get the "dreamers" to take that first, addictive sip.

He recalled the data from the ship's interface: one of his fruits was worth exactly one hundred Qi Points (QP). He had used two fruits to create the Gin and the Cider, which meant he had "invested" 200 QP of raw material, plus the cost of the glass and the ship's processing power.
