The sun hung high over the city of Grimoir, casting a harsh, blinding light across the eastern district. Despite the breeze that drifted lazily through the hills, the heat still pressed against the skin, heavy and persistent.
East Grimoir stood on elevated ground, its terrain uneven and sloping. Patches of dense greenery still clung stubbornly to the land, towering trees rising between clusters of modern structures. Residential houses were scattered across the hills, accompanied by a few aging industrial buildings that looked like they had long outlived their purpose.
From a distance, the factory barely stood out.
Up close, it felt… wrong.
The rusted gate hung slightly ajar, its "No Entry" sign corroded beyond warning. The building loomed in silence, its presence carrying the unsettling weight of something that should have been abandoned- but wasn't.
