Late at night Aok lay on the bed, gazing up at the ceiling blankly. These days he had become so used to sleeping with Kui that sleeping with an empty spot beside him was... painful.
His eyes slowly moved toward the new pillow beside him. It was completely unused.
He readily ran to the other room. Wasn't he even a little reluctant to leave me?
Aok turned over and hugged the sheets tightly, his lips forming a small pout.

He sighed softly and peered toward the window.
The wind outside was blowing wildly, making the branches sway and the wooden window bang against its frame. Aok stared at it for a moment before his eyes suddenly brightened.
He had an idea.
Aok quickly sat up.
Without making much noise, he climbed out through his own window and moved toward the window of the room next door. The strong wind had already blown it wide open, making it easy for him to slip inside.
He quietly jumped through the window.
