Lu Zhenzhen scooted up, trying to sit up, but her dizziness threw her back.
She grabbed a pillow and pressed it against her head, grumbling, "I'm not going!"
"Not going is not an option."
Gao Zhe took away her pillow and lifted her up. Instinctively, she leaned into his chest, and maybe that brief movement cleared her mind a bit, but her head felt like it was about to explode.
"Damn, this Shochu liquor has such a strong aftereffect!"
She would've been better off not mentioning it, but as soon as she did, the man's face darkened, like a room behind pulled curtains.
"You know it's strong yet you drink it. Can't even keep an eye on you!"
Lu Zhenzhen opened her eyes, intending to glare at him, but as soon as they were halfway open, the pain made her squint them shut again. "How was I supposed to know? I used to drink a whole jug without wobbling, but now with this little pudding in my belly, I'm a one-cup fall-down!"
