"Mr. Yaen is joking, we will definitely pass on your words, please rest well."
The doctor was about to leave when Yaen Chi called him back, "Could you do me a favor and help me turn over?"
"How would Mr. Yaen like to turn?"
"On my stomach!"
He didn't want to spend the night curled up, feeling both awkward and uncomfortable. Lying on his stomach was okay; at least it's not like a quail — he would still be a fierce tiger.
The doctor could manage it alone, but fearing he might accidentally bump into something, he called another doctor to assist. Together, they turned Yaen Chi from lying on his side to on his stomach.
As they were leaving, Yaen Chi turned his head towards the door, his gaze falling on the young doctor walking at the back, eyes narrowing slightly.
The next day, Yaen Chi awoke with the aroma of food filling the air and immediately sensed someone was in the room.
Years of vigilance made him alert in an instant.
