Since the danger in this world was not enough to make him frown—a degree where Haru needed to think of a strategy before the battle—he decided to keep his powers sealed away. Most of it.
The powers he contained would easily create a huge wormhole in the fabric of reality and engulf this planet at once. That's why Haru didn't take a chance and kept those powers sealed away. Most of it.
However, to keep the Almighty One away, he couldn't have relied on his Infinity solely, unless he drew some power from his reserve. That's why Haru didn't think twice to take the task in hand, and went ahead to utilize a huge umbrella over Earth, made purely out of Infinity, to restrict the Absolute Being from landing.
The destruction his feet alone could cause was excessive so Haru took the role of keeping those divine feet away while his Sunbae moved across Seoul to move all the citizens and hunters away.
'It's a mess...' His crystal blue eyes shone as he looked at the city and found thousands of monsters crawling out of the dungeons and several hunters being engaged in battles.
Hundreds were dying from their side and tens from the human side. And even that is because humans were getting support from those shadowy beings who only listened to Jin-Woo's commands.
'Sunbae has grown significantly after becoming one with the Black Heart...' Although Haru could see some potential still being untouched, Jin-Woo has absolutely ascended from the realm of mere ranked warriors. He has become a true Monarch in all senses while retaining his human emotions.
And that...is a dangerous combination.
Haru noticed that Cha Hae-In was fighting alongside her guild members, and the strongest knight from her boyfriend's army, Igrit, supporting her and protecting her when needed. Well, the blond huntress was strong enough to take care of herself; sometimes, while trying to save others, she risks herself.
On the other side, he spotted several airships heading in the direction of Seoul, and judging from the people sitting inside, Japan and China responded to the danger by sending their best hunters for support.
'Never assumed Japan to be this quick in helping none other than Korea...' Maybe it was because Matsumoto was no longer in rule, the Japanese government was working more rationally....or maybe this was another of those dirty plots to subdue the high-ranking hunters of Korea?
Who knows.
For now, the epicentre of danger was Korea, and for hunters to actively arrive here to help means they are prepared to die.
Haru grinned; things have changed slowly but surely.
He then turned his eyes toward his lover and found her looking back at him. There was evident concern in her eyes even though she wasn't supposed to take stress around these times.
But well, there was nothing Haru could do to help unless he finished this battle early and returned to his better half(not yet).
He was about to turn to spot his Sunbae when suddenly he found the Monarch of Death levitating beside him, riding his beloved wyvern.
"Sunbae?" He was frowning; stress evident on his face.
"The remaining Ruler...he is going to use the essence of the Cup of Reincarnation and send this world back in time."
Haru frowned; this was not something he ever anticipated. They...are trying to reset everything even before the battle has turned towards its climax.
Have they already realised that this battle is not something they could win? Possibly.
"I feel it would be disastrous to let that happen." Haru slowly mumbled, and Jin-Woo nodded, "Without having the Cup of Reincarnation and utilizing most of its remaining power to awaken the Absolute Being would surely have left some negative effect of the remaining extract. No one knows, what might happen if that idiot Ruler try to reverse the time."
Haru nodded, his brows drawing closer.
He closed his eyes and decided to utilize his 'All-seeing' eyes. A skill which requires a lot of Soul energy and something he was avoiding using for a long time.
A lot of sacrifices were made for Haru to possess this skill, and whenever he used them, he could hear their cries and curses.
'Guess, I got no choice...' Taking a deep breath, he accelerated the supply of mana from the fourth realm and summoned his All-seeing eyes.
"--!!" Jin-Woo was startled to see those white eyes, which revealed themselves once Haru parted his eyes and began to look at nothing in particular.
'This energy...' Jin-Woo has felt this same energy from the teenager when he woke up from the slumber. Except, this time it was quite intense.
'I always feel repulsed in its presence...strange...' Jin-Woo didn't know that the energy Haru was radiating was the truest and most condensed form of magic, which was reacting against the Darkness which the Shadow Monarch contained within himself.
Haru was looking across the skies, heavens, and different dimensions to find that bastard who needed some killing.
It didn't take him long to locate a feathered being resting in the same temple where once the Absolute Being resided.
'Motherfu---" Haru cursed, as he deactivated the eyes and looked at his Sunbae, "He is at his Papa's place."
Jin-Woo instantly realized where he could find the Ruler; however, before he could move, Haru held him by his forearm and said, "Wait, Sunbae...did you forget?"
Jin-Woo didn't forget that Haru had requested to let every neck of those Rulers be severed by him. However,
"But Haru...who will handle the Absolute Being. There are still so many people out there and the Ruler can reverse the time any moment now."
Haru nodded, "I know, don't worry."
Jin-Woo frowned, couldn't discern what he meant. However when suddenly Haru snapped his finger and the scenery around them shifted—Jin-Woo knew that they could now go all out.
The Shadow Monarch has returned home. The very place where it all started....
