50 years before the Pirate Era, during the Sengoku Jidai Era in Japan, two supernatural powers clashed: the Kyubi no Yoko Kurama, the leader of the Kyoto yokai, and the Ryugu Jiken Naga, the leader of the western yokai in Osaka.
They were determining the next great leader of the yokai. After the Ten-Tailed Leonin Nana was sealed by Inari no Taisha, the first incarnation of Amaterasu no Mikoto, for causing chaos in the Land of the Gods, the land fell. It was called the Fallen Land, and great warriors from all factions of the world fought.
To compete for wealth, fame, and power, humans also possessed the power to hunt Yokai, known as Hunters, using the power of Nen.
The most famous Hunters at that time were the four great families: the Kuruta family, the Zoldik family, the Netero family, and the Frech family.
These four families were at the forefront of the Dark Continent to hunt monsters and creatures unknown to humans—Yokai and Demons.
300 Million Years Ago
First Dimension
7th Universe
A great war broke out involving the Seven Superior Beings—beings who had reached the level of divinity. They vied for influence and even turned on each other. They were Chaos, Cosmos, Hikari, Yami, Saikatsu, and Catastrop, the apocalypse beast Dragon.
The battle between Cosmos Dragon Ametyse Ryu Shinie and Chaos Dragon Amyeste Ryu Jin and Catastrops Dragon Amonyaste Ryu Shinjie shook the 12 universes. They leaped from one universe to another.
"Blaar!" "Blaar!" "Blaar!"
The Chaos Dragon used a ball of destruction to target Catastropse, aka Amonyaste.
Their battle brought together superior beings to stop them. The 7 Dragon God Emperors from the 7 Dimensions, the 12 Koio Shin guardians of the universes, and the 10 primordial gods joined the war. Their battle destroyed the first dimension and left the 7 worlds in ruins.
The beings fought each other. The 7 Dragon God Emperors were sealed within an object and scattered throughout the universe. The 12 guardians of the universes and the 10 primordial gods agreed to end the war with the 7 divine entities. The battle ended with the 7 entities being severely injured. Witnessing the destruction of the 7 dimensions, Kami and the 10 primordial gods destroyed the 3 entities: Yami, Hikari, and Cosmos.
"Why did you eliminate me? Kamisama?" Cosmos asked.
Hikari deeply regretted participating in the war that destroyed the Seven Dimensions. He cursed his actions that destroyed the Dimension where they and others lived.
Kamisama sealed the four Catastropes in 36 statues, the Shinju were sealed on the Moon, Seikatsu in the Underworld Dimension, and the Chaos Dragon was divided into three forms. They are now known as Trihexa, Oroboros, and Great Red.
Kamisama established Earth as a place for all creation. A place to share the lives of all beings.
Andalusia, Spain, 2015 AD
A woman entered a room engraved with images of the holy war that took place here and in Constantinople.
"You, sealed here. Soon you will be free," said a very soft female voice.
Lucy was reading the Book of the First Secret of the Creator, flipping through the pages. There are 30 volumes in the Book of the First, which is approximately 140,000 pages long.

One volume consists of 2,500 pages, plus 13 additional pages detailing the device God created for humanity's well-being, the Secret Gear.
"It's a very thick book; it will take years to read it all. I'll just read the important stuff for now," Lucy said.
Lucy read the book in her room.
"I'd better underline the important pages."
A woman entered Lucy's room. She said, "Lucy, Natsu is outside, he's meeting you. Come down quickly, child."
From her room, after her mother came down, Lucy felt something watching her.
"Hurry up and grow up and free me from these shackles..."

"You've gotten stronger, Ichigo, than you were five years ago," Goku said.
"It's all thanks to you, Master," Ichigo said.
"And Master Vegeta, thank you for adopting me as your son," Ichigo said.
"Yes, you are my son, just like Trunks. You can call me father," Vegeta said.
"Today, I'm assigning you to go to Kuoh Academy, an independent district that has become a city south of Tokyo, to study there," said Goku.
"Meanwhile, Tranks, Gohan, Goten, and Pan will go to the academy with Ichigo," said Goku.
"What do you think, Lord Urahara?"
"I think Gohan and Tranks can attend Kuoh Academy because they have experience fighting supernatural beings. As for Ichigo, Goten, and Pan, they are still inexperienced. It would be better for them to attend Konoha Academy in Shibuya City, west of Tokyo. A friend of mine is the principal there," said Urahara.
"Why am I going to that school, Dad?" asked Trunks.
"You're going there to observe supernatural phenomena. It's been 1,000 years since Satan, the Devil, and the Fallen Ones entered human territory. The Shinto gods and the Yokai have taken no action against them, so they can do whatever they want in the human world," said Vegeta.
"And they're also the representatives of the Saiyan race on Earth," said Goku.
