The first thing I did was enter Dragon Sage Mode and release my dragon wing. I take to the sky and look around for civilization.
"There is a town in the south. Let's go there."
"Yes, sir!"
The two of us walk through the strange forest. This place is full of black mana, and the only reason why it does not leak and create an army of undead is because of the green mana in the air. The hatred of all undead; the green mana ensures no undead wreak havoc in the area.
Don't get me wrong, there are monsters in the area. They are not undead, but they are an abomination because the black mana overpowers the green mana in number. These black mana mutate the animals in this area, making them stronger and more aggressive.
They are strong, but they are mostly low-level monsters. White can kill them before they can get near us. I give her the sword back from my Gate of Babylon, and she goes to town. She butchers all the monsters coming at us and makes sure no mud gets on my clothes.
As for me, I make sure to create a barrier around me to block the poison mist. It is coming from the plant and the swamp. It is made of black mana. Even though it is not a danger to me, a large amount of it will make my stomach grumble.
As a sage, poison is rarely a problem for me. However, continuously purifying them will make me hungry. It is better to let them enter my body; it is easy, as I create a barrier that acts as a second skin, preventing the mist from entering.
We continue to walk through the forest for half an hour before we encounter a giant wall. It is made of a regular stone. Unlike the stone the builder mages back home. They use a synthetic stone that absorbs mana, so it is more durable and resistant to magic.
They use something better when they build important buildings, such as my home and workshop, and Yasaka's palace.
I expand my senjutsu and notice there is no one nearby.
"White, let's jump off the wall."
"Yes, sir!"
We jump the wall and land on the other side. I can feel that the black mana is thinner on this side. It is still there, but it is thinner. I think it is 30% thinner than the other side.
"Ryan, my scanner catches movement from the south."
"Oh?"
I spread my senses and feel movement. Unlike White, my sense might not have the same range as her scanner, but I can sense more than just movement. I can sense what kind of people are within my range.
Most of them are humans, but I can feel something that attracts my interest. I can feel a familiar feeling coming from the group. There is a dragon in the group. It is relatively young, but I can feel its mana is massive and very dense.
I put the dragon in a High-Medium Class being. Not what the Devil uses, but rather what the rest of the world uses.
Maybe it will reach high class in a few more years when it can control the massive mana inside its body. At the moment, it is leaking even with the barrier around it. The dragon attempts to hide its presence, but to people like me, it is as if it tries to hide a fucking beacon that can illuminate an island.
A good attempt, but someone who knows basic sensing magic will be able to notice it.
"White, we will hide for a moment."
White does not question me; she only nods. I wave my hand and use my Senjutsu to hide our presence, smell, and even make us invisible. We are currently one with nature and await the group's arrival.
We walk to the nearby tree and wait. After a couple of minutes, we can see a group of people. The one leading them is a red-haired man, carrying a pair of cats I know are not normal, and a small black dragon on top of his head.
'A baby. There is a baby dragon in this world.'
'Ah, Grandeeney. Do you have free time now?'
'Yes. Because of you, I survived. With the help of your Senjutsu and the power of Akatosh, my soul recovered, and now I can continue to watch over my children.'
Yeah. It turns out, Grandeeney is dying because her soul is damaged, and Acnologia has already swallowed part of it. Lucky for her, Senjutsu is the greatest healing technique in the world, capable of healing not only physical injuries but also spiritual and mental ones.
Because she is inside my soul, she can use all the Natural Energy I gather to heal herself. Now, she is no longer half-dead and instead fully alive.
'Anyway, that dragon is young. Very young. He has great potential by the feel of his mana and its nature.'
'I see. That is good to know.'
I look at the group as they walk past us. I can feel that some of them are strong. A young-looking man with black hair is one of them, while the other is the hooded woman. Both of them are strong, a solid mid-tier being.
The man is a swordman. I can feel his aura, and it feels like a sword, sharp. The woman, on the other hand, uses Black Mana. I might not know spells from Magic: The Gathering, but my sense is sharp, and I know she is using Black Magic. My bet is in Necromancy. She has a solid 3 Black Mana in her soul.
We follow the group to the wall and watch them open the gate. However, before they walk through the gate, the black-haired man and the old man take out their weapons. They point it at us, and the younger man shouts.
"Show yourself! I know you are there! You might be able to mask your presence and smell, but you still leave a mark on the ground!"
The others immediately take a battle stance and prepare to attack me. Even the black dragon releases a massive amount of mana into the air and prepares to attack me. It is cute. I've fought Gods before, and their power eclipse this young dragon by a thousand times.
I look at our trail and nod in appreciation when I notice a small, almost unnoticeable, trail we left behind. This man is good. I am also not your regular old man. His presence is muted, and he reeks of blood. He must be an assassin.
Oh, well. I canceled my technique and let the world know. Once I did that, the red-haired woman with two blue mana inside of her and the black dragon gasped.
I tilt my head when I see the dragon immediately fly toward me with one of his fingers pointing at me. He looks at me in shock, with a weird sense of hope in his eyes.
"Y-You! You are a dragon!"
I look at him for a second and grin.
"That's right! I am a Dragon! My name is Ryan Hernandes, Son of Grandeeney, Queen of Sky Dragon!"
