All things have a spirit.
Mutated beasts are the same; even void beasts, such a powerful race, retain some spirituality despite being turned into evil puppets and sealed of one soul and one spirit.
At least they still recognize their offspring...
When Vice Hall Master Lin approached with Xu Yeming, the void beast puppet, under the pull of the spiritual energy ropes exerted by the numerous experts present, grew increasingly furious and struggled, evil aura surging skyward, constantly roaring, on the verge of breaking free.
But when it saw Xu Yeming 'leading' its cub, still absorbing medicinal properties, towards it.
The struggles of the void beast puppet gradually eased, and the towering evil aura seemed as if, not wanting to affect the cub, the void beast puppet suppressed it forcibly, stopping its roaring, but its already hollow eyes gazed in Xu Yeming's direction.
