"Wow, so all four of you know each other?"
A surprised voice suddenly echoed through the room, drawing Jeanne's attention away from the others.
She turned toward another corner of the chamber and widened her eyes when she noticed two young men standing there together. At first glance, Jeanne could hardly tell them apart. They looked so similar that she immediately assumed they had to be twins, with the same handsome, sharply defined features, the same brown eyes, and the same blond hair brushed neatly back from their foreheads. The only obvious difference between them was their clothing. One wore a deep blue velvet coat designed in an old-fashioned style, while the other wore a similarly elegant coat in a dark crimson red.
The man in blue was the one who had spoken.
Before Jeanne could even properly react, he crossed the room toward her with surprising confidence, took her hand, and pressed his lips lightly against her knuckles.
