The second floor of the gambling hall had one hundred counters.
At a glance, each counter handled one bet and at the moment, seventy-five of the counters were taking food festival related bets, while the others were either private fights, competitions, and even wagers on who would advance first between several famous masters.
'How dynamic.' Shen Xu thought and led Zhen Yuan to the first counter.
On the left wall next to the counter was an image list, and Shen Xu saw his name on the thirteenth spot.
"What's this list?" He wondered and began reading the accompanying details.
From what he learned, the list showed the names of one hundred spiritual chefs, and their odds of earning the top spot in the first round.
"My odds are one in nineteen." He said and his lips curled in a happy smile.
After all, such low odds meant a high payout if he took the top spot.
