Matilda smiled, scratched the back of her head, and then cracked her neck. "Like I would let Merlin toy with me like that again. I won't be turning into a tiger again."
A moment of silence hung between the two for a few seconds, and then, Mira lunged forward first. She was fast, too fast for any human. Her divine body far surpassed mortal limits, and it showed clearly when her entire being turned into a blur.
Matilda took a simple step to the side and pushed Mira's punch aside. While both of them were weak and nowhere near the rest of Arad's wives, in terms of skill alone, Matilda was on a whole other level above Mira.
