Eventually we drifted to sleep together, just cuddling our babies and enjoying the warmth of one another as we shared the bed, though we were woken up not that much later as Sadie came in to inform us that the pups were all ravenous again.
Since it had been who knows how long since birth Kalia was feeling more confident in just blanketing us in healing magic and having us drink some herbal teas to get better, so after a little bit of that I went to join Astra and lay eyes on the pups for the first time.
It actually sort of stunned me how swiftly I clocked each baby to each Dama, because a decently large part of me was thinking that Astra was just too... Astra for any baby of hers to not just be clearly hers, though I was immediately reminded that all she seemed to 'do' was amplify the Dama to an incredible degree.
The divine baby in particular was just 'red', while Fenkar's baby was clearly hers with those dual colored eyes, and then Luna... well, seeing the serious Wolfkin holding the serious pup, I don't think anyone could say she wasn't the Dama, or at the very least the older sister.
"Thalia, Kalliope, Vesper~! Aren't they adorable~? Sadly Thalia is... aggressive, and Kalliope doesn't really like it that much, so they might not get along perfectly, though Vesper does sometimes- she does that."
By 'that' she meant the black furred pup smacking Thalia atop the head as the two got closer, and all that did was make the red skinned pup snarl before she whipped her little arm around to try and hit Vesper.
Her Dama blocked the attack for her, and Astra gently tapped both of them on the head as she said "No, stop.", which only seemed to make them both more determined to act up... before Thalia huffed and beat her little fists against Astra's boob.
Rolling her eyes and letting the pup drink, Astra looked at me with a small smile as she said "I am going to need to find a really, really endowed Cowkin sometime soon. One who can handle some... voracious futanari. In all the ways.", which made me nod in agreement.
Even Sadie would eventually have trouble with more and more milk fiends appearing, and while Astra and I had a lot to offer we weren't always going to be here, so getting a Cowkin would be nice... and I'm certain almost all of the family would appreciate that.
I did feel a little bad about Astra eventually 'abducting' someone into the family to just become a milk source, but considering what I knew about most Cowkin and also what I knew about Astra, that 'fear' was immediately swept away.
"Are you going to be able to build things soon..? Because if you want a Cowkin soon you should probably start working on a barn for the storage and gear that makes milking easier."
That just got her excited, so I had to begin explaining that to her whilst we experienced a little bit of what that Cowkin would and likely already was doing, since all of our children were just apparently bottomless pits.

"Aww c'mon boss, that's a two for one special! Three for one if we get lucky!"
I had to just slowly turn towards my comrade as I took my eyes off of the newly expanded compound and instead stared at her, conveying my confusion rather sufficiently since she immediately scratched the back of her neck before asking "Surely... Surely we can get one of 'em..?"
"So should I just... run you through this real fast? That's Lycaniata having a pup with Astra. Off limits no holds barred, unless you like trying to fight the Goddess of Wolves. I uh... quite like my limbs to be attached where they are.
Then you have a freshly born 'something' related directly to Reincantra, which is immediately off limits because who goes after any major Goddess' baby, let alone hers? The only one that we can 'get' is Astra still, because she isn't 'directly' protected.
She's... Remember, Moriartra said that this is a 'character' for Reincantra to observe. That means she's a story in the making, which in turn means she's hands off with her to an extent. We can probably grab her, use her, and then set her free to make the story interesting, but we sure as hell cannot be harming her. Or her babies. That's also just... low. Even for us."
My comrade rolled her eyes at me as she fell back against the trunk of the tree, her boredom coming back with a vengeance as she asked "Then what the hell are we doing here? There's like a half dozen candidates in the city that we could nab, maybe more! Or we could leave Birchan and head north to somewhere less regulated... and just be home..."
"We're sticking around precisely because we can 'get' Astra. If we can just tap into her power, if we can just siphon some of it for ourselves, we can make something special when the Goddesses descend. We're talking about the difference between a state and an empire... you understand that, right?"
Clicking her tongue, she nodded and continued to lounge on the branch before she asked "What makes you think she'd be someone we could capture though? All that power... how do WE manage to get her locked up? Surely she just... blasts us away with divine bullshit or something."
"Then we take away the 'divine bullshit' and leave her as just a woman. A strong, capable woman, but just a woman. We have a few Relics of our own, remember. Our sisters didn't die for nothing... and I didn't kill dear old Mother just for this plan to crumble here."
That caused her to sit up, a gigantic grin splitting her face as she said "Alright, finally! When are we-" only for me to drop from the branch before she could ask, because I didn't want her saying anything to anyone else.
But... soon.
Soon I would have what I was looking for, and soon... I would have Astra at my feet, building me my empire and begging me for more...
