Confronted by the sudden appearance of the red-haired woman, Nancy did not immediately trust her, instead questioning her identity within the IMF.
"Your vigilance is commendable, but the fact that your message could instantly appear in my hand should be enough to prove my identity."
When the monitor showed that the other party's clearance was far above her own, Nancy finally believed her. Unflinchingly, she said, "May I ask why you couldn't notify me through official channels? As a member of the IMF, I have long been prepared to make sacrifices."
Apparently picking up on the resentment in her words, the red-haired woman gave a slight smile and extended her right hand to Nancy. "Hello, I'm the supervisor for this month, a part of the upper echelon."
As Nancy reached out to shake her hand, she saw the woman's form shift in an instant, transforming into an elderly man with silver hair. A pure black Roman numeral, III, was tattooed on the side of his neck.
