Anna glanced at the people at the shop's entrance, tapped Olivia's foot three times with her finger, and then walked outside.
Back on the deathly-still street, Olivia spoke, her voice filled with distress.
"Three days ago, they killed a family of three and threw their bodies into the sea. They did it all for the moving doll the little girl was holding."
Just for murder and robbery? Are these guys a bunch of bandits? Anna guessed.
"It wasn't a random killing; they were commissioned. This was premeditated."
Hearing this, Hyena immediately figured out their identities. "Those guys are Hunters, the kind who do dirty work. They specifically prey on people who are alone in our circles, and they also take on commissioned jobs."
"Mercenaries?"
"Sort of. Anyone can hire them as long as you have the connections. Of course, don't expect their loyalty to be very high. Some will just take your deposit and run. It's a mixed bag, with all sorts of people."
