Anna knew these surface wounds were nothing, as children heal quickly. The injury to his lumbar spine was the real concern—that was what mattered most. If it healed wrong, he could be paralyzed.
If Charles ends up paralyzed just before heading to the Abyss-Sea, things will get very interesting.
"How's your back?" she asked.
Gao Zhiming twisted his waist and walked a few steps. He smiled at his sister and said, "Hmm, it feels a bit sore, but it doesn't hurt. It's much better than before."
Hearing this, Anna finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Alright, get dressed. We're leaving."
As Charles put on his clothes, he asked curiously, "Sister, where are we going?"
