Charles gave no answer. The massive tentacles continued to proliferate, and the eyeballs wrapped in their flesh gradually formed optic stalks, which grew ever upward toward the sky.
The horrifying appearance of the gigantic, fleshy tentacles was in constant flux, finally coalescing into a grotesque, giant tree of blood and flesh. Deformed, fleshy limbs continued to sprout, making the entire trunk grow ever denser.
