Elizabeth's grandfather lived in a house beneath the Governor's Mansion. To accommodate his three-meter-tall frame, all the furniture had been custom-made to a gigantic scale. His towering figure was seated on a sofa more than four meters high, his body leaning forward as he watched a screen three times the size of a regular TV. He was so absorbed in the drama on screen that he didn't even notice Charles and Elizabeth approaching.
"Grandfather, Charles has come to see you." Elizabeth patted the wrinkled, half-meter-wide back of his hand.
At her words, the elderly, white-haired Giant slowly took off his half-rimmed glasses and looked at the two people beside him.
When he saw it was his granddaughter, his age-spotted face lit up with a kind smile. "Ah, my little Liz, you've come to see me? What did you just say?"
