"I don't know. Right now, I just hope that whatever attacked us isn't the same as what we saw earlier," Charles said, his expression grave as he studied the map in front of him.
They couldn't go back to the previous spot to confirm. If the two sightings were of the same entity, they were in big trouble.
That would mean the Narwhal was being tracked by that thing. No matter what it was, its sheer size alone meant that its ordinary movements could inflict fatal damage.
