Pai Bo obviously couldn't do that. If he truly possessed such power, he wouldn't have just stood by and watched that thing kill two of his subordinate gods.
"No matter what, our ability to harness Divine Energy is always stronger than yours. Hand that thing over to us—it's the safest option," Pai Bo said, still refusing to give up.
"Are you referring to your special monster-hybridization technology, or the Divine Corpse in your possession?"
"I don't think your tricks will be of much use in this situation. Your individual strength is impressive, sure, but compared to humans, there are simply too few of you."
Pai Bo's body was gradually turning transparent as if he were preparing to leave. His voice carried a hint of displeasure. "I'd heard you were an unpleasant person, and now I see why."
