"Wait! Be careful, it's dangerous inside!" Before Charles could finish speaking, Bandage had already slipped in. Gritting his teeth, Charles hurried after him.
When he stepped inside and saw the scene within, he was stunned.
Inside this huge metal dome was a factory the size of a small town. The gigantic workshop buildings, their steel-reinforced concrete frames looming like titans, gleamed with a steely gray luster under the crew's flashlight beams. Pipes stretched out from atop the factory, plunging into holes in the nearby metal walls. The swirling, snow-like ash outside was being spewed from them.
Bandage was about to go deeper, but Charles rushed over and stopped him. "Hold on! Let the mice scout first! What's gotten into you?"
"This singing... I think I've heard it before. Someone very close to me... sang this song once…"
"You've been here before?" Charles asked.
