"Hahaha, Charles! What did I say? Sooner or later, you would end up just like me!" the deformed infant cackled madly.
Charles looked at the crazed face of the former Governor of the British Island, Swan, and ignored his hysterical laughter. He turned his head to face the Pope beside him.
"As a Feast-Goer and a Divine Chosen One, am I meant to be one of the sacrifices? Is the colossal Longka a powerful tool you're using to fight the God? Has all of this been part of your grand scheme?"
The Pope smiled proudly. "Did you think Swan could create Longka on his own? And who do you think revealed the ritual to summon the Feast-Goer to him?"
Charles scoffed and nodded. "Brilliant. So the more than ten million people on the British Island were all pawns in your game?"
The Pope looked at Charles in surprise. "Are you still thinking about that now? Shouldn't you be more concerned with your current situation?"
