"Miss, please don't scare me! What on earth happened?" Jina was nearly in tears.
Tears had already soaked her eyelashes, causing them to stick softly to her eyelids. Margaret said nothing. She quickly put on her clothes and walked silently outside.
She thought about how Charles had talked nonsense all night. He had even mentioned that man wrapped in bandages, yet he never mentioned her. At the thought, her tears couldn't help but flow again.
What am I? In Mr. Charles's eyes, am I not even as important as a crew member?
A dejected Margaret walked back into the Governor's Mansion, only to hear a whistle from the side as soon as she entered. It was Jack, with his arms crossed and a look on his face like he was enjoying a good show.
"My dear sister, isn't being together during the day enough? Now you even want to sleep together at night?"
Margaret clenched her jaw and her fists, and began punching him repeatedly. Facing his sister's flurry of punches, Jack feigned cries of pain.
