April 2nd, Ninth Year of Crossing
Today marks the twenty-ninth day at sea. We're getting closer to the Supply Island. Since the incident with the fish fin, we haven't encountered any other major crises.
As we approach, my insomnia has inevitably returned. The Doctor's medicine helps me lie down, but it can't solve the problem of my dreams.
It isn't the usual nightmare; it's a beautiful dream. I dream that I've returned to the Earth's surface, back to that land of light. I found my family, and they were ecstatic, hugging me. They all thought I was long dead.
I'm lying on the sofa, eating all kinds of fruit from the surface and telling them fantastic stories about the Abyss-Sea.
Anna is beside me, and so is Elizabeth. They came out to the surface with me.
BANG, BANG, BANG! A sharp knock echoed from the Captain's Room door.
"What is it?"
"I... found... something... You... should come take a look..." Bandage's slow voice drifted from outside.
