"Sodoma's pirates don't have time for us. Shadow Island has sunk, and right now they're busy looting refugees who are wandering the seas looking for a new place to live."
Charles felt a surge of joy. This is exactly the information I needed. If things are really as he says, then this is a golden opportunity. "Are you telling the truth?" he asked.
"I am a follower of the Light God Sect. How could I possibly lie? Are you in or not? If you're not, I'll take my own people and go."
"How many exploration ships do you have left?"
"Counting the one you recovered, three in total. But it doesn't matter. I can sell off all the Light Sect's assets on Coral Island and order all believers to donate their entire fortunes. That way, we should be able to hire a few more exploration ships. With that many, it won't be a problem at all."
