The Doctor glanced at Charles, who was still getting used to his new hand, and reminded him in a low voice, "Don't think that thing is all that great. As your doctor, let me give you a piece of advice: no matter how good the new stuff is, it's never better than the old."
Charles lowered the prosthetic, pondered for a moment, and then asked the Doctor, "There seems to be more to this than just mechanics."
"Hmph. That kid is willing to do anything for the sake of turning his body into a machine. You'd better keep your distance from him in the future. I know him, but that doesn't mean we're close."
Just as Charles was about to say something more, Richard suddenly cut in.
"These prosthetics incorporate soul-crafting, don't they? So does that mean those who use Magic are very familiar with the soul?"
"Most of those tricksters are out in the West Sea. I don't know much about them. Why are you asking?"
Charles was puzzled too. "Yeah, why are you asking about this?"
