"Yeah? I'm sure you would've laughed your head off if you were to see his face at that time." –Leon said while smiling.
"Yeah, I can imagine it already." –Elena replied. She was smiling too.
About an hour later Berdly finally found Elena and Leon coming back. They looked a lot friendlier when they got back.
"Oh, Mr. Berdly, are you all right? We took a bit longer than expected." –Leon said. "What can I say, Miss Aniston is a very interesting person. I didn't even feel it when the time passed by." –he added.
"No it's quite all right." –Berdly said.
He got exhausted just sitting there.
"Mr. Berdly, look what I brought." –Elena said as she took out the items one by one.
There were two inscription beads, a bracelet, a locket, and a spirit-sealing orb.
Berdly didn't think much at first but when he took a closer look he felt his scalp going numb.
Each of these items is a grade-two artifact. There's no way they are cheap. What was she even thinking, buying all of these at once?
