-Break-
Location: Dragon King of Destruction's Temple, Bushyasta; Underground Entrance.
Walking through a narrow tunnel, Zahhak looks upwards where his eyes see a trap door, and says, "That's the only place left to go, isn't it, Jamy?"
Jamy smacks its ears against Zahhak, and he jumps upward, grabbing onto the trap door. Then, using his tails he forces it open, filling his body up and jumps out.
Looking around, he says, "Wait, this place leads to underneath the Temple?" Pumping his fist in the air, Zahhak says, "At least I don't have to jump off the bridge to reach Angra every time." A chill moves down his spine, then he says, "Hopefully those Dragons didn't tell Rara of my actions is incredibly. Because if they do, she might actually do what I hate the most in the world."
Location: Dragon King of Destruction's Temple, Bushyasta; Zahhak's bedroom
With one foot after the other, Zahhak moves his feet through the windows in his room and looks around. "My door is closed, so it seems sister didn't come check on me."
Landing on his floorboard, Zahhak turns to Jamshid and says, "It looks like our royal escapade was a succ-."
Yet as his face looks at Jamshid from the shadows behind him, Garəbra appears and says, "Zahhaaaaaaaaaaaaaak."
In an instant, he jumps back to the wall and says, "Rara, I didn't know you were here? Are you okay? Do you maybe want a hug?"
"The Aratavaena informed me of your movements. That you'd tried to escape, and that you'd fallen off the edge of the Chinvat Bridge." Emerging from the woman's mouth is a creepy tone that sends chills down Zahhak's back despite all the scales that cover his body for heat.
Hearing this, the boy fills with fear, as his fate hangs in the balance of the next few words they leave his mouth. He rapidly moves through his thoughts, trying to find an answer as his tongue constantly ties itself in knots.
And the conclusion he comes to is to say, "I AM SORRY!" While slamming his head right into the ground.
Though Garəbra remains unaffected by these words, and merely continues forward with her swaying from side to side like curtains being blown about by the wind. The moment her hands reach the right distance, she grabs him and hugs him with all her might as she says, "ZAZA!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Her emotions surge, filling her corpse-like face with life so intense that the followers in the room start to sprout. Seeing her like this, Zahhak says, "Please don't cry, Rara. If you do, I won't be able to hold it in myself."
Zahhak's eyes quickly fill with tears as he cries along with her, wrapping his arms around her, and for the rest of the night, the two remain intertwined as their tears leak from their faces.
-The Next Day-
Location: Mount Hara; Prison Room
Rushing into Angra's room, Zahhak holds his arm out and waves in the sky with Jamshid holding a basket with its ears, and says, "YOUR NEW FOUND FRIENDS HAVE RETURNED!"
With a look of shock, Angra asks, "How did you make it back here already?"
With a confused look, Zahhak says, "I just followed the path that I took yesterday. It's rather convenient given it's underneath Auntie's temple."
"I am talking about how you explained the fact that you fell off the bridge?"
A proud smile appears on Zahhak's face, and he says, "I told Rara that I managed to roar flames from my mouth as I was caught between the Realms, allowing me to escape falling through. She bought the excuse and didn't ask any more questions. Rara also let me go out and play again because she feels sorry about my situation. So we can talk as long as I am back before the next day begins. I brought some snacks, so there will be no need for me to leave? If I may be so rude, what do you eat?"
"Nothing. I have surpassed the need for food."
"That's no good, eating food with others it a great bonding exercise. Besides, all things need fuel to keep themselves at full strength."
Laughing, Angra says, "You're right. So then be happy. The more intense the emotions you feel, the more energy I will get."
With a face full of excitement, Zahhak says, "Then the 2nd son of the Dragon King of Truth, Zahhak Mazda, will be happier than any other while in your presence. Now, please inform me of those stories you have."
-Break-
It truly began on that day. The conversation between the two was to calm the sadness in his heart, and all I could do was watch in horror as he conversed with the beast.
Zahhak would tell him about the things which he had learned and accomplished.
"My classes have finally started talking about all of the realms. It seems now that I know about them, Rara is no longer hiding them from me."
"Apparently, the Dragons who were guarding the Chinvat Bridge are a hybrid between Dragons and one of the other races."
"Angra, I am starting to get Wyvern summoning down. I should be able to do it soon."
"Gra, I was finally able to land consistent blows on Jamy. Oh, the wounds? Don't worry about them, Jamy just got a bit excited and stopped holding back on me."
Zahhak would tell him about the things he felt and thought.
"I proposed to another one of the maids, but she rejected me. Maybe I am going to be forever alone."
"Jamy is sleeping now, isn't he cute? He doesn't know this, but he is my bestest friend and the closest ally in the world."
"Apparently, Rara still hasn't been able to find a husband who wants her for something other than her blood and status. It's so sad. But since I love her lots, I plan on marrying her when I come of age."
"I wonder if you think my elder brother thinks of how his younger brother turns out? Or maybe he doesn't even spare me any thoughts. Makes me sad when I think about it like that. He already has children; maybe he has all the family he ever will need."
Zahhak would tell him about the dreams he wished to accomplish.
"I hope to one day have a great wife and a large family who I will love with all my heart. They will call me Daddy, I will respond with 'Hahahaha, I have told you to call me father, but since you're all so cute, you can refer to me as Daddy.' YESSSS, I can imagine it now! How amazing that will feel!"
"Why do I keep training? It's to become a Deva. I know it might seem ridiculous since all the Dragon King's Children become Deva's through innate strength, but I still want to train my hardest and become the strongest amongst them, because if I do, they might-. Never mind."
"I think I would like to spend some time outside of Avesta and see all the world has to offer. I know Dragon often have a displeasure towards the outside world, and specifically humans, but at one point we all used to live together, and I think it's such a shame that I don't get to experience all of it in my long lifespan. Maybe I could even make friends with someone of every single race!"
And in return, Angra would share stories with him. One's about his Father.
"It happened soon after he was born. The Dragon King of Truth saw the beginnings of the Dragons. A race of people blessed with great bodies and intense power, who spent the majority of their lives battling with each other.
In the days of the past, the wars raged on, cracking every single crevice of the land, as the Dragons only lived by one rule. Survival of the fittest. Their great bodies gave them an outlook that only valued the physical, completely denying all other avenues of power the world had to give them.
And the Dragon God Drakon surged it on seeing the destruction and spillage of his children's blood to be a virtue onto its own existence. For he had grown drunk on the power woven into its very existence.
Yet one Dragon Ahura Mazda saw these actions as foolish, barbaric and destructive to the true potential that lay within the Dragons. So he brought a Truth onto all of the Dragons who had existed. He had formed a tribe of Dragons that held family, order, nature and culture above all things.
They had combined together not based on strength but on the most defining parts of themselves. The bond formed from this had kept them close together, forming a united front against the violence pervading the lands. They developed, grew in numbers, gained strength, structures, and unity unimaginable by Dragons at the time. And thus in the face of his material changes, the Drakon crowned him the first king of the Dragon's, the King of Truth, Ahura Mazda."
He told him stories about his mother.
"The Dragon King of War, Amadiohana Ikenga, one day was confronted with an issue. After the death of the Dragon God Drakon, the land was left with its giant corpse, and from it, supernatural phenomena started to take place.
The gasses and heat it release created a series of strong weather zones, the blood that leaked out of it's body polluted the seas with intense spirit energy, it's bones stabbing into and damaging the lands, it's heart warping reality around it, demons and wyverns rose from it's flesh, and even the fauna and flora around it started to grow and mutate.
Its body died and rotted in what was the Amadiohana's territory, and her people felt it more intensely than all others. They faced horrible conditions daily to the point that even the pregnant Dragons managed to have complications surrounding their pregnancy, almost leading to the first death during pregnancy ever.
Fear crept into everyone's lives as they cried and shouted at their misery. And what made the pain so much worse is that deep in their hearts, they believed it was their retribution for doing something as immoral as killing their God.
Yet Amadiohana rejected such an idea and instead decreed, 'If the world treats this beast as worthy enough to torture us over, I shall simply go to war with it,' and this she did. She ventured into its corpse and spent centuries researching everything about it, eventually realising fixes for all the issues and bringing peace and order into her land through her ingenuity and willpower. Often being the being of the Ike Dragons' love of technology and development, despite the cost to nature."
Even his elder brother.
"The current leader of the Deva, a Great Dragon, known as Gaasyendietha, had come across an issue. Another Great Dragon, known as the Sea Creation Dragon, went on a rampage, and no one could stop it, for it was from the Rabu Tribe, one of the strongest tribes that had ever lived across Avesta. When the Rabu take their Dragonic forms, they are almost twice the size of a Behemoth Wonderbeasts, the largest creatures known to exist outside of ancient members of the Nephilim race. Many went extinct during the Great Race War Nefílat Ein-Sof, yet one survived, Tiamat.
One day, stricken by grief and sadness at the loneliness she felt, she went on a rampage, unable to be stopped by anyone but the Dragon King's. They had thought of restraining her, yet her power was too great to hold with serious injury, so the death penalty was to be carried out. Yet one Dragon cared for her sorrows and sought her out by himself. Gaasyendietha arrived and conducted a bloody battle against her that continued on for decades until they both were nothing more than blood sack of flesh and meat on the ground rolling around in pain.
And in her subdued state, he gave her a promise. 'I will save you from your loneliness every single day of your life from now on, so do not cry, do not fall into sadness, and come with me until the day this planet crumbles into nothingness.' His words reached her heart, and soon the battle between them came to an end as a new union was formed."
