I'm doing some horse back riding at the farm of Duke Theron, it's just me and a few people.
Azriel is avoiding me after what happened between me and him at his dangeon, now I am all alone.
Appreciating the whole place. How peaceful this place is, just the sounds of trees that is moving because of wind.
I stopped at the place where the horses is caged and take a short walk. This is the break that I need, before I will expose myself at the public.
But now, I shouldn't get worried on what will happen, because that will came near or will happen if necessary.
"Move along!" I lost my balance, when a horse almost hit me, and that voice is familiar to me.
Hannah and Terrence is here.
"What tue heck are you doing here?" I look at their faces, and both of them looked surprised that they saw me alive.
"We thought you're dead, and what the heck are you doing at this place, it belongs to the Duke Theron," Terrence said, and I didn't move or talk, I just stare at them.
I have no intention to make a scene or to encounter them, but unfortunately they are here.
"Why you're here, you should be dead as what the others said." Hannah step on my hand, and I scream at the top of my lungs.
The servants went to the place where Hannah is making a scene, by harassing me and assaulting me.
"You should die, you're useless. Father doesn't need someone stupid like you." A strong stick touched my skin, and it makes me scream more.
What the fuck is wrong with them?
"S-stop!" I almost lost my breath, they stopped hitting me and the servants helped me to stand up.
"Your highness, are you alright?" The maid look at my bruises, and I glare at Hannah and Terrence. I want to hit back so bad, I want to scream and hurt them on the way that they hurt me now.
I don't deserve any of this, because I am nice to all, and they have no rights to hurt me on their own whimps.
"What's wrong with you?"
"You're trespassing here!" I chuckled and rolled my eyes. How?
"How I become a trespasser to the land of my Fiance?" I said without stopping myself, Hannah looked surprised and blink many times, before looking at his brother.
"W-what?" She asked again, and I took a deep breath.
"I am the fiance of Duke Theron, we keep it in private for the mean time, but we are together for almost seven months." Her jaw dropped and I saw how her hand hold tight to the stick and attempt to hurt me, again.
"Your majesty, please don't hit the Princess Delaney, the Duke might find it and he will get mad, for sure." Hannah step back and walk away.
Terrence is smiling evily before he walk away too.
The servants helped me to walk at the pavilion, they are cleaning my wounds, and I remember that I have new medicines.
"Just clean it, I will put some medicine at the villa," I said and the maids are crying, while looking at my bruises.
"It should be me, the Princess Hannah can hurt me, instead of you, your majesty." I smile sweetly and pat the head of the younger servants of mine.
"No, it's okay. I will be alright soon, so you don't have to worry." I closed my eyes after saying it. Thinking what will be their next moves, now that they discovered that I am alive, and I am the fiance of Duke Theron.
"But you have a lot of bruises, and you're in pain right now." The other servants kneel and it seems that they will report something right now.
"Your majesty, the prince and princess finally depart at the land, but I heard that they will come back, we already informed the Duke Theron about this incident." I can't help but to massage my forehead and took a deep breath now.
This is getting bigger. I know that I should expect more worst this time, because Hannah really like the duke of Windsor.
"God of heavens and land, what's wrong with this people." I took a deep breath before walking to my carriage, I want to go home and rest. Lady Critesa will definitely horrified by my bruises now.
I didn't allow her to come with me, because I want my alone time, but I didn't expect that within the land of my fiance, I will get hurt.
I'm getting paranoid, that they will do something that will affect my imagine, I am sure of it, not just my imagination.
I have to become careful this time, but for the mean time, I will calm down and rest.
The real battle is near, I can sense it.
I know that I am not that ready, and my preparations is not that stable. But I have to, because this time, I am facing my family, and my father.
"You can do it." I keep my eyes close, until I reached the villa.
Lady Critesa was worried when she saw me now, and helped me to walk on my way to the room where my medicines are there.
"I'm going to remove your dress, princess Delaney." I nod and sat at the chair.
"The medicines, at the blue container, use that for my bruises at my back." I said and I tied my hair.
Lady Critesa is crying while putting the medicines at my back, I hear how she whimp and her hands is also shaking.
"It's alright, you don't have to worry. I am alive, can't you see?"
"What if they kill you there, and the servants didn't manage to stop them, what will happened?" Lady Critesa said while crying hard when she's done at applying the medicine.
"I will be alright, and believe me. I can manage to overcome any of this." I said and smile sweetly, before the door opened.
"Duke Theron."
"Princess Delaney, what's wrong, what happened to your bruises, can you walk?" He asked and kneel in front of me, checking the bruises that my sister made lately.
"I am fine, you don't have to worry." He still checking each of them, and the medicine that Lady Criseta applied.
"That spoiled brat, I will that's the reason why I never like princess Hannah, she's acting stupid at all time, a spoiled one and didn't think for her actions." Duke Theron complained and Lady Criseta give us a time to talk.
Closing the door and Duke sat beside me now. Helping me to wear my dress.
"What happened, the servants report wasn't that clear, because when they saw you, getting beaten by Princess Hannah, they panicked and tried to stop the princess and helped you to stand up." I nod and smile bitterly.
"That's true, I didn't do anything wrong with them, Terrence and Hannah approached me, hit me and tried to hurt me more." I explained while looking at the medicine.
How stupid they are, my brother isn't thinking too, they think that hurting me like before is still the same, I have value now. Duke Theron is my fiance, and hurting me means war to the Duke Theron.
It's not that I am a possession, but I am a woman of Duke, the future Duchess of Windsor.
"Why you let that woman hurt you?" I smile bitterly and touch the Duke's Theron face, so lovely.
"I don't want to do anything or show something that might feed them some idea that I am not the same as before, I want them to see me as weak, a no one who is just a fiance of yours without capability or anything that I have now." I explained and the Duke understand it fastly.
"But still, you got this bruises, it makes me feel bad that I can't do anything to prevent this." I shook my head again and took a deep breath.
"I'm fine, and I will be fine. Don't worry about it, now. Calm down and think for the better this time, because they already know that I am alive and we are together." He nod and sit back.
"I know that at the moment that I came here, a notice will be delivered, and request our presence at the capital, so prepare your things, before we travel to the capital, I will finish my errands at my main land, then we will announce our engagement at the moment we arrive at the capital." I nod and patiently looking on how Theron is walking around to calm himself.
I want to do something to help him to ease his anger or what ever he is feeling now.
"I am just mad as fuck, how dare them to do this, disrespect you at my own land. I don't fucking care if they are part of royal family, I can build my own empire now, I am just respecting what my father has with the royal family." He massage his forehead and I went closer to the Duke Theron.
"You don't have to worry, I can manage everything, I can ease what I need to ease. This is part of the plan, and I have to this, in order to make a good result of the plan." Duke Theron nod slowly and hold my cheeks.
"You're great, I hope you know how lucky I am that you came at my life, that the future of my land and the Drivike is better at your hands, my queen." I hold Duke Theron's hand and close my eyes.
What a shooting feelings now, his single presence helped me to calm down and to understand before that I have to lengthen my patience, be nice to everybody, and to be one of a kind person.
Duke Theron taught me a lot of things that my own family never did. That my father lack with, and neglecting a child like me.
That's why, I am grateful to have this people around me, and this time. I won't let this opportunity pass, I will do what I have to do.
I will better more this time, not just for myself, but also for the people who believe in me.
"I will take a rest now, you too. Have a rest and I will double the security at your room, to make sure that your crazy sister won't assault you again, good night my lady." Duke Theron kissed my hand and leave.
Close the door and I removed my dress.
Climb up to the bathtub and take a quick dip. I want to remove all of the medicines before I sleep. Because of that is how my medicines works.
I also wash my face and my hair.
The fresh air really help me to relax for a bit, and write something at my journal.
I got bored, want to read and study more.
So I went out to my room, and get the light. Walking at the corridor of the mansion, and decided that I want some coffee.
I stopped at the counter and stir the coffee. I almost dropped the cup, when Azriel showed up and looks in hurry.
"W-what happened to you, why you have a lot of bruises?" He asked and look around.
I smile bitterly to him. "My sister and brother already found out that I am alive, and I am the fiance of the Duke."
