"Your Majesty, you didn't need to." Aleksander entered the room after knocking. Much to Lucien and Efthalia's surprise, they weren't expecting Aleksander to be the one to serve them tea. Lucien felt uneasy being served by the emperor.
Aleksander assured them that he didn't mind at all. He told both couples to relax and enjoy the evening view. They were sitting on the balcony, and the sky was starting to change colour, although it hadn't set yet.
"You are my...I mean, an important guest..." Aleksander simply wanted to be careful. The incident of them missing was a shock. Not only that, both were injured yet surprisingly healed. He should applaud the healer for her remarkable discovery.
Aleksander intentionally spoke those lines and he wanted to chuckle. The way Efthalia's gaze shifted from uninterested to drilling into his soul. 'Yaps, he has completely fallen over. There is no saving now.'
