Hiroshi hesitated a few seconds before shaking his head. "No, I don't hate you."
"Do you love me?"
Hiroshi raised his head to look at Haruki as the question was asked.
"Do you still love me?" Haruki asked. He knew the man loved him in the past.
Hiroshi looked down again and pulled away from Haruki's hold. "I am very busy. I will take my leave now."
Haruki didn't hesitate to stop him before he could leave. He stepped closer to the man leaving only a little space between them. He just needed to lean forward a bit to touch the man.
"I want to know if you still love me." Haruki bent forward slightly to look at the man's face since Hiroshi was avoiding his gaze by looking down.
"Does that matter?" Hiroshi finally raised his head when Haruki met his gaze.
"It matters," Haruki replied firmly following the man's gaze despite his attempt to avoid him. "So?"
