( Arata's POV )
I was surprised that Sun had taken my side but no one was more surprised than his father, who was speechless but tried to maintain the facade that this was a test.
Gozaburo: Daughter, princess, come back here. You know this is important.
Sun: No, Dad, it's my duty as a wife to face problems together. I must be by Arata's side.
Sun gave an honest and straightforward answer to the fake test, we smiled at each other and that gesture annoyed her father so much that it seemed like he was going to pop a vein in his forehead.
Arata: Sun, I'm so happy you're on my side, but I don't know if I have any fight left in me.
Sun: That's okay, remember what we talked about about mermaid songs, I'll help you with the song of heroes.
After saying that she was going to help me, Sun took some distance and she began to sing but when her melodious voice entered my ears, my body froze and my vision began to blur, I lost control of my body and soon all I could see was darkness.
Sun's melodious voice was now heard muffled, then a silhouette appeared in front of me, I approached it and I vaguely recognized a purple head and a side ponytail, I thought that was Sagiri's silhouette but after that things went back to darkness.

( Sun's POV )
The hero song should raise a person's fighting spirit to its limits, but when I started singing, Arata simply froze in a somewhat disturbing way.
Gozaburo: Now shark Fujishiro! It's your chance.
Fujishiro: we are going again, okay, I guess.
Fujishiro jumped towards Arata again in his shark form but Arata still didn't respond but before they collided, A black wind dome surrounded Arata, then it exploded outwards and pushed Fujishiro back violently, I was also pushed a little.
Sun: kyaa.
Gozaburo: You bastard, what do you think you're doing to my daughter!
Sun: No, Dad!
My father ran towards Arata to throw a punch, I knew he was too much for Arata so I shouted to stop him but that didn't work, my father threw a punch at Arata and he matched it with one of his own, when their fists collided, a wave of energy was created and after a few moments, Arata was sent flying into the wall.
Sun: Arata!
Arata was dragged on his feet as he flew towards the wall but before he could crash a large black wing grew from his back and he brake with a flap of that wing, Then he shot forward at high speed toward my father. Their fists collided again, but this time my father was sent flying.
Ren: Oh, wow, you really caused a problem this time, my dear.
While I was focused on Arata, my mother appeared behind me, Sagiri, Urara and Ranna were also with her.
Sun: Mom, do you know what's going on?
Ren: If I had to take a wild guess I would say Arata's Yokai blood, which is more active than a normal person's, has been trying to awaken since he started his training but upon hearing Sun's song it was forcibly awakened and that took control of his body.
Urara: That's an specific guess, ma'am.
Sun: what should we do?
Ren: Arata seems to be reacting to danger rather than projecting hostility, if we let him exhaust his power he should return to normal.
The best option was to listen to my mother's words but as if wanting to defy what she had said Arata's power began to spread throughout the building, in the form of a high temperature and sharp air currents circulating around it that grew in intensity and were capable of cutting wooden crates clean in half.
Urara: And how long will that take, I think Arata is going to blow the roof off this place very soon.
We were running out of options and time, and while my mother was thinking about what our best move would be, I noticed that something on both Arata's neck and mine was shining.
I pulled at the necklace I was wearing and saw that the ring Arata bought for me was shining, and it seems that Arata was also wearing his ring on a necklace around his neck, and that caught my mother's attention.
Ren: um interesting, Sun try to put that ring on your finger.
Sun: ok.
I did not hesitate to follow my mother's instructions and I put the ring on my hand, at that moment, part of Arata's power was absorbed by the ring in his neck and then that power was absorbed by my ring and passed to me, that calmed Arata a little but he still had a lot of power inside him.
Then we noticed another glow coming from Arata's pocket, Sagiri seeing that threw a shuriken that ripped his pocket and from there fell several rings similar to mine, but I didn't have time to think about that because Arata took Sagiri's action as an attack and shot at high speed towards her.
Sagiri didn't have time to react but before Arata could make contact with her, he stopped dead in his tracks, Arata's hand was near Sagiri's head and instead of attacking, he gently ran his hand through Sagiri's hair.
Ren: move back, slowly.
We walked away from Arata and Urara took the opportunity to pick up the rings that fell out of Arata's pocket, then she returned to where we were, the rings were shining in Urara's hands but when my mother grabbed one of the rings it stopped shining.
My mother raised her eyebrow thoughtfully and seemed to come to a realization.
