It had been three hours since I first tested my new power—telekinesis.
I started small. A spoon. A pen.
Then bigger things. Chairs. Boxes. Anything nearby that looked liftable.
A strange tingling spread through my body every time something moved—like static crawling under my skin. The heavier the object, the stronger the sensation. I didn't stop. I couldn't stop.
Then my vision blurred.
My stomach twisted violently.
"Ugh—!"
I barely made it before everything inside me came rushing out.
"Huekkk—!"
I collapsed to the floor, my body shaking, muscles screaming in protest.
"Fuck… what the hell is this?"
My limbs felt like lead. My chest burned. It was like I'd just finished a marathon and a full-body workout at the same time.
Is this the side effect?
The thought crossed my mind for only a second.
"Hehehe…if it is then it's fucking worth it."
When I woke up, the room was dark.
Hours had passed.
I dragged myself up, cleaned the mess, and took a shower. The soreness hadn't gone away—every movement hurt—but I couldn't stop smiling.
Afterward, I grabbed some leftovers from the kitchen. As I ate, I checked my phone.
That's when I saw it.
Another email.
From them.
Subject: Awakener Status Notification
Dear Mr. Thomas,
Congratulations. You have gained Mastery Points.
To allocate and manage your mastery, please download Mastery+ on the Play Store or App Store.

I stared at the screen.
"…The fuck?"
"They have apps now?"
This was officially blowing my mind.
What the hell was happening?
Why was there a corporation managing powers?
Why did this feel less like magic—and more like customer service?
Questions flooded my head.
But one thought pushed through all the confusion.
"…Fine."
I tapped Download.
After I downloaded the app, I opened it immediately—and to my surprise, I gained 35 mastery points.
At that moment, I had no idea whether that number was good or not, so I started researching the app.

Twenty minutes later.
From what I gathered, 35 points isn't bad.
These points are used to upgrade my skill tree and star skills.
Right now, my telekinesis skill tree looks like this:
Telekinesis
-Sense: 10 points
-Range: 10 points
-Materialization: 20 points
I could either invest in Sense and Range, or go all in on Materialization. In the end, I chose quantity over quality.
As for upgrading my star skill… I need 1,000 mastery points.
Yeah. Fuck me.
