The next morning,Cassie was already up, she was setting the table, She had woke up as early as six to go get them breakfast, she brought back, brushes , toothpaste, soaps, four boxes of polish cereal and two can of milk.
What she was doing was risky, and she knew it, but she had to protect and feed her family, Zeke was still exhausted from yesterday, she had to care for him so he'd get his strength back.
And Dennis? he had nightmares again, she really needed to make them feel at home and loved so she took it upon herself to be their mother, care for them and cherish them.

At noon Cassie walked around the backyard examining it.

The house was old but warm, she could really see her self living here.
She drew in deep breaths, but later decided that wasn't a good idea because the house smelt like moldy meat loaf.
walking towards the halls she placed her hands on the wall papers and walked alongside it, they where old but eye catching and pretty.
She loved how each rooms had a whole different wallpaper of its own, and they where all of Florals, Lilies, Roses, Daisy's, Daffodils, it was beautiful.
There were four rooms so she sensed that this old woman had lived here with family.
But where was this family now? what if they wanted their house back?, what if they moved back to live in it?, she panicked.
Calm down Cass she heard her dad's voice in her head, she breath out, she's been holding her breath for about forty seconds.

Okay deep brea... not so deep breaths, she calmed herself.
Inside the kitchen, made her feel at home,
she remembered how her mom used to make them scrabbled eggs and how dad would distract her just so they could add in an extra egg.
Tears gathered in her eyes, she loved this house, and she wanted to stay here,
also, because they wouldn't have to buy a thing, it had everything.
We need to get a phone. Cassie announced.
